Scott Lavene

Scott Lavene

17 Sept 2026 - 29 Nov 2026

In support of his upcoming single, My Kinda Girl, Scott Lavene has announced an 11 date UK tour throughout September. My Kinda Girl is the third in a series of singles put out this year that will pave the way for his forthcoming debut album in 2019. Born in Essex, Scott Lavene was raised on power ballads, punk and swearing. In bands since his teens, Scott travelled about, scratching out a living with deadbeat jobs trying to find something to cling to. After couple of years in France and a brief stint in New York, including a playing at the infamous CBGB's Scott returned to London and came close to a major label deal with his sordid songs. Instead Scott disappeared on a rusty old boat, a floating shed, for five years. Hiding from the world. Broke and bemused. Solitude and lonely debauchery. After five years of this Scott went kaput, so spent some time in a house for the bewildered where he emerged full of life and songs. A self released album in a band called Big Top Heartbreak led to being signed to Funnel Music as a solo artist. The first single, 'It's All Gonna Blow' has been played by Steve Lamacq on his BBC 6Music show and Scott had a residency at the Brighton Fringe as well as a sell out show at Crofters Rights in Bristol for the 7inch vinyl release show.

London, Acme Sewage Co, Drivelheads

24 Oct 2026 - 24 Oct 2026

The story of London: London is a four piece punk band formed in London in 1976. The original line-up was Riff Regan (vocals), Steve Voice (bass/vocals), Jon Moss (drums) and Dave Wight (guitar). Jon Moss had briefly been the drummer in The Clash before leaving to form London. In 1977 they recorded two singles, a 4 track EP and an album 'Animal Games' for MCA Records. Most of their songs were written by Riff Regan (including the first two singles 'Everyone's a Winner' and 'Summer of Love') or by Riff Regan and Steve Voice. All their records were produced by Simon Napier-Bell (who was also their manager) at the IBC Studios in London. They toured extensively throughout 1977, including a major UK tour with The Stranglers (the Rattus Norvegicus tour.) Their final gig was at the Marquee Club in Wardour Street on the 8th December 1977. The band broke up shortly afterwards and MCA released their album 'Animal Games' in early 1978. Following the split, Jon Moss first joined The Damned and then formed Culture Club with Boy George. Riff Regan released solo records on MCA and Epic before becoming a comedy writer under his real name of Miles Tredinnick; Steve Voice formed a new band The Original Vampires and Dave Wight following stints in Metro and Holly and the Italians reverted to his real name of Colin Wight and became an academic (recently appointed Professor of International Relations at Sydney University). Simon Napier-Bell went on to manage George Michael and Wham! before becoming a best selling author. The band returned in 2008 with original members Riff Regan (vocals) and Steve Voice (bass/vocals) as well as new Londoners Hugh O'Donnell (guitar/vocals) and Colin Watterston (drums). The band released a new studio album Reboot in 2012. In 2015/16 Rick De'Ath played bass in the band and Steve Voice switched to guitar. Acme Sewage Co One of the best bands to play the original Roxy club in London and still going strong now, With a sound that has massive hints of the Stooges and proto punk i can assure you that your ears will be bleeding.
Zombie Met Girl, The Spike Direction Effect, The Army Of Skanks
Zombie Met Girl take their influences from the 70s U.S. garage punk scene (The Ramones, The Cramps The Dead Kennedys, The Stooges) but have a style all of their own making. Their lyrics are different, like something out of the best 1960s sci-fi/horror movies! Their songs get lodged in your brain like a rusty steel spike! Their sound is punk with a difference! Live, they never fail! Nick is dynamic as the front man with Frazer, Tim and Steve as the pounding force behind! They never leave a stage without the crowd wanting more! The Spike Direction This band got me with one video ! and i was hooked. The best way to describe them is psychobilly adjacent garage/blues. Its epic stuff. The Army Of Skanks And returning to Duffy's is Coventry punksters The Army Of Skanks who always go down well. The Army Of Skanks are a female-fronted alternative/punk 'n' roll 4-piece from Coventry. Punk Rock Warrior Women with their man whippet on drums.
Stiff Little Fingers

Stiff Little Fingers

10 Jul 2026 - 2 Oct 2026

Stiff Little Fingers were formed in 1977 in Belfast, Ireland. Along with the likes of the Clash, Sex Pistols, The Jam, Buzzcocks, Undertones, Sham 69, Stranglers, et al – Stiff Little Fingers were at the forefront of the punk movement. They wrote initially about their own lives, growing up at the height of The Troubles in Northern Ireland, in songs like “Suspect Device” and “Wasted Life”. In November of ’77, they released those two songs on their own Rigid Digits label, and sent a copy to BBC Radio One DJ John Peel, who started playing it every night. These were the first of what became SLF’s signature style: lyrics that meld the personal and political, music that combines the energy of punk with infectious hooks, and delivery that rings of honesty and commitment. In 1979 they became the first band ever to hit the UK top 20 album charts on an independent label with their debut Inflammable Material. The album chronicles the band’s anger and frustration at “the Troubles” in Northern Ireland, and calls on youth to create their own reality. Over the years, their live shows continued to be special events of energy and power. Their studio albums demonstrate their passion and anger, each in its own way. In ’94 they released the Get a Life LP. The album helped renew interest in SLF just as newer bands that sited them as a major influence, such as Bad Religion, Sugar, Rancid and Therapy?, were coming to prominence. After many studio albums and countless tours, Stiff Little Fingers find themselves more in demand than ever.
The Amber Squad + the Sleepers + the Daze
THE AMBER SQUAD The Amber Squad bring vibrant, high-energy power-pop and pub-rock shaped since the late 70s. Their debut single, boosted by John Peel, launched them onto stages across the UK. Reuniting in 2015, theyve continued to impress at top venues at home and abroad. With original members still driving the sound, The Amber Squad deliver catchy melodies, tight performances and an enduring, feel-good musical punch. THE SLEEPERS The Sleepers return to the stage with the energy that made them one of the most exciting underground bands to emerge from the late 70s punk scene. Formed in 1979, the band first made their mark with the cult-favourite Angel in a Raincoat EP, gaining national attention and airplay from John Peel. Their melodic, hard-hitting sound led to support slots with the Skids and Cockney Rejects and cemented their reputation across the UK and Europe. Revived decades later after a Berlin band covered their debut single, The Sleepers hit the stage once again to packed rooms and an international fanbase. Recent releases on Queen Mum Records and a successful 2025 run have reignited demand for their powerful live shows. THE DAZE THE DAZE, a three-piece band from Birmingham, England, featuring Phil Hickin (guitar/vocals), Rob Tansley (drums/vocals), and John Hammond (bass), formed in 1978 out of the ashes of previously unrecorded combos, GREYDAY, FIVE KNUCKLE SHUFFLE and 3 LITRE. Gigging in pubs and small venues, the trio recorded and produced their lone 1979 single live to four-track in local label Motor City Rhythm's rehearsal studio in two hours. Issued in February 1979 and sold mainly at gigs, THE DAZE's single has remained one of the Holy Grails of U.K. punk since the time of its release, not only because of its impossible rarity, but also the high-quality of its two tracks. I Wanna Be A Star dares to proclaim what every other punk band was too scared to admit over a thin Mersey-punk guitar line and melody while At The Seaside is less Mod's Mayday and more D.I.Y. day-tripper strum und clang. In other words: a classic! THE DAZE recorded two other tracks which were unreleased before breaking up in 1982. In a better world theyd have been the next SPENCER DAVIS GROUP. Recommended to everyone without a trust fund. Tickets £12
