Dundee Museum of Transport will open its doors for the spring season on Saturday 1st February with refreshed displays and new exhibitions. Visit the museum to see the new “70 years of Fords” exhibition featuring a vibrant variety of vehicles from this iconic company, including the Escort Cosworth, Focus RS, and a 1972 Capri. Visitors can also see a transport-themed exhibition created in collaboration with Dundee Photographic Society using photographs from the museum’s archive. For 2025, there's a new street scene where visitors can find their favourite Dundee shops from times gone by: Brian Sheriffs Model Shop, Mr. Beaujangles Clothing, and Perth Road’s iconic Groucho’s. Volunteers are also making good progress on restoring Dundee’s last horse-drawn tram and visitors can now see the brilliant work they’ve been doing. Children can also try our new interactive racing cart!

Whether you drive a classic, custom, vintage, modern or quirky vehicle - or just want to admire what's on show - everyone is welcome. Chat motors, share stories, and enjoy the museum's outdoor space and cafe. No booking required - all wheels welcomed!

Dundee Museum of Transport is proud to present a unique collaboration with Dundee Photographic Society. In this special exhibition, seven members of the society each selected an image from our rich photographic archives - capturing key moments and scenes from Dundee's transport history. They then created their own modern photographic responses using creativity and perspective to reimagine and reflect upon the original images. The result is a striking visual dialogue between past and present - a celebration of Dundee's changing streets, vehicles, and communities through the art of photography.
