Telling unpalatable truths about broken hearts, social justice, in songs that are percussive, bold, lyrical, deeply personal, and have an unexpected edge to them, accompanied by spoons, harmonica, guitar, trombone, and tap-dancing shoes.. For over 30 years Boo Hewerdine has been considered one of the UK’s finest singer-songwriters. As lead singer of seminal band, The Bible, through his subsequent solo work and his long-time collaboration with the incredible Eddi Reader he has become something of a national treasure. Since Swimming in Mercury was released in 2017, Boo has been writing, recording and touring with Eddi Reader, Chris Difford, Kris Drever and Emily Barker among others. He is in demand as a writer, producer and performer. This Autumn he will be undertaking an extensive tour, singing songs from his new album ‘Before’ and his extensive back catalogue. A naturally gifted raconteur his gigs are always a total joy.

Taking to the stage will be: Grinter Street - 21:00 - 21:45 Grinter Street is a high-energy folk-pop duo from Suffolk, known for their foot-stomping anthems. Their music catalogue spans many decades and genres, bringing variety, depth and excitement to every performance. Dove & Boweevil Soul Review - 22:00 - 22:45 Encompassing all things Soul, Funk, and RnB, Dove and Boweevil is a six-piece band from Norwich, England, featuring both British and American influences. Alaska - 23:00 - 23:45 We are a 4 piece function band, playing everything from 80s to modern day. Made up of Lewi Quantril on drums, Archie Buck on Guitar, Samantha Penman on Bass, and Kayleigh Perrin on Vocals. Louie Lou and the Mad Hatters - 00:00 - 00:45 Covering songs from the 60s/70s up to modern day, the band has Louie Lou as female lead singer, Marty Mahem on guitar, Jay on the bass and Vinnie Fogg on the drums. Brooks Williams & Aaron Catlow in Concert Brooks Williams & Aaron Catlow bring soaring Trans-Atlantic melodies and bluesy-folk brilliance to the time-honoured guitar and fiddle tradition. These two are masters of their respective instruments. This inspired pairing has been gathering praise from the likes of Songlines, Folk Radio UK, and Penny Black Music, among others, and delighting audiences from festivals like Ely, Middlewich, Raunds and venues like Stoller Hall and The Atkinson, who stated their concert was one of the best nights ever. Introduction to drilling sea glass: Sun Catcher Workshop
This two hour workshop is an introduction to drilling sea glass with 'By The Night Bird's, Lorna. In this fun workshop you will learn how to drill sea glass and create your own beautiful sun catcher! Perfect for beginners who want to explore a new craft and make unique decorations for their home or to give as gifts. We will be going over the best techniques and safety practices using a Dremel Rotary tool when drilling glass, as well as the importance of the steps involved in the process. Get stuck in and select a handful of sea glass from my collection , perfect for drilling & making into sun catchers. Lorna will share lots of tips & tricks that she has picked up along her own creative journey.

Meet the newest member of the Curious Creatures Crew, Henry the Hedgehog, along with his friends CyCy the snake, Toothless the Bearded Dragon and the very curious Giant Spiny Stick Insects! Find out more about them and get up close with plenty of time for photo opportunities.
