This workshop will give the whole family an opportunity to learn about the science behind etching metal for printmaking, drawing inspiration from Susan' Aldworth's current exhibition Modern Alchemy, and how scientific and creative processes overlap more than you might think. During this two-and-a-half-hour workshop, you'll be both a scientist and an artist as you learn how to etch an image into a metal plate by utilizing a chemical reaction. The plate will then be printed and taken away with you as a personalized keyring. This workshop is suitable for adults and children aged 8+.
