Fat Dog

Fat Dog

1 Nov 2025 - 1 Nov 2025

Fat Dog’s particular brand of chaos seems a fine antidote to the remains of pent-up lockdown frustration. The collective scream has found a mouth; the potential energy has been activated. Joe’s singing, his words slurred and distorted in the time-honoured tradition of delta bluesmen, melds to Jazz’s wordless vocals, high and keening like some punk banshee princess, equal parts Grace Slick and Yoko Ono.
The Ultimate Stone Roses

The Ultimate Stone Roses

26 Sept 2025 - 6 Jun 2026

The Ultimate Stone Roses are the only tribute to the Roses to hail from Manchester. Each member is a die hard fan of the original band who has dedicated themselves to mastering the music of their heroes. Playing songs from the seminal first album, the second coming and early fan favourites like 'Sally Cinnamon' and 'Mersey Paradise', the Ultimate Stone Roses give their audiences the most authentic Stone Roses experience possible.
Welly

Welly

2 Oct 2025 - 15 Oct 2025

Welly is an extraordinary character with a remarkable literary way of describing himself, his band and society. A square peg in the round hole of suburban life, Welly embraced his difference from an early age and went onto channel his observations on suburbia into songs. Whip-smart, playful, funny and terrifyingly smart pop songs to be precise. He then set about finding the perfect vehicle to pedal his wares and so formed a band and delivered a debut album bursting with democratised pop music for people that feel fun in the charts stopped at Love Machine by Girls Aloud.
BC Camplight

Will Varley

Will Varley

29 Sept 2025 - 7 Dec 2025

Singer-songwriter Will Varley has come a long way since his early days haunting the open mics of South London and busking around on The Underground. Over the past few years, Will has toured relentlessly across Europe and America as a support act for Billy Bragg, Frank Turner, Valerie June, and The Proclaimers and he's sold out his own headline shows in cities as far afield as Berlin, Zurich, Amsterdam and Vienna. High praise from the likes of Tim Minchin and Simon Nicol of Fairport Convention have helped fan the flames, as his audience continues to grow both on the road and online.

Chastity Belt

Chastity Belt

3 Sept 2025 - 3 Sept 2025

In their decade-plus together, the four-piece-Shapiro, Lydia Lund (guitar, vocals), Gretchen Grimm (drums, vocals), and Annie Truscott (bass, vocals)-have created a resonant body of work. The early days of “Nip Slip” and “Pussy Weed Beer” (hits from their iconic debut full-length No Regerts, which recently celebrated 10 years) and the “Cool Slut” era of 2015’s Time To Go Home were raucous bonanzas of dry wit and self-evident feminism. A newfound gravity on 2017’s I Used to Spend So Much Time Alone shifted the lyrical mood toward introspection as they continued to refine their trademark sound: lush intertwining guitars, meticulous rhythms, a careful balance of melancholy and optimism. Two years later, the dreamy Chastity Belt marked a renewal of vows to their musicianship and friendship, each member coming into their own as artists, convening with a fresh perspective on collaboration. Live Laugh Love is a natural continuation which finds the members in their prime as musicians. Their parts trace intricate patterns over one another, but there’s room to breathe between the layers. Everyone contributes to the writing, sometimes switching instruments, and for the first time, all four members sing a song. “We have such a strong sense of each other’s musical inclinations” says Lund. “I think this allows for a lot of playfulness...we can kinda surprise each other, like a good punchline would.” Living, laughing, loving... maybe it really is that simple. In these troubled times, in this wicked world, it can feel like apocalypse is everywhere but did you know 11,000 years ago there were some really big armadillos? I’m talking about as big as a car. Really big. And they were vegetarian so don’t even worry about them. Also my daughter has a hamster and I’m not saying distract yourself from everything, but I’m saying he’s also part of everything. Josie is back with a new show about discovery, wonder, extinction and how to walk through a landscape of monstrous disaster. There is also a good tip about silt, guaranteed.

The Bug Club

The Bug Club

25 Jul 2025 - 19 Dec 2025

The Bug Club's name does a good job of introducing the band and their music: a tight-knit, collaborative effort focussed on telling tales of the everyday that we often take for granted, shot through with humour and riffs-a-plenty. Comprising the creative trio of Sam Willmett (guitar/vocals), Tilly Harris (bass/vocals) & Dan Matthew (drums), The Bug Club formed in 2016 in the little-known rock n' roll hotbed that is Caldicot, Monmouthshire. The band were signed by Bingo Records in Autumn 2020, and released their first single 'We Don't Need Room For Lovin'' in Feb 2021. EPs Launching Moondream One and Pure Particles followed, along with standalone releases Intelectuals and Two Beauties. Initially championed by BBC 6 Music's Marc Riley, along with Adam Walton and Huw Stephens on Radio Cymru, The Bug Club have since earned the support of DJs, fellow artists and press worldwide. Sold-out tours across the UK and in Europe paved the way for a 2023 which will see the band play further afield to an ever-growing loyal fanbase, who can look forward to a number of new releases from the trio this year. Jah Wobble

Jah Wobble

2 Oct 2025 - 12 Nov 2025

Over the past three decades or so, Jah Wobble has ploughed his own furrow as a prolific solo artist, as well as becoming a well-respected session musician, with genuine passion for Eastern and Global music. He has worked with a diverse range of musicians, including Baaba Maal, Bjork, Primal Scream, Brian Eno, Sinead O'Connor, Julianne Regan, Delores O'Riordan, Holgat Czukay, The Edge and Chaka Demus & Pliers. The man born John Wardle began his musical journey when he met John Lydon and Sid Vicious at Kingsway College, London in 1973. It was Vicious who not only nicknamed John 'Jah Wobble' after a drunken binge but also loaned him his first bass guitar. Lydon asked JW to join Public Image Limited (aka PiL) in spring 1978. Wardle's distinctive 'low end' bass became the backbone of PiL's pioneering sound. After its follow-up, the exploratory yet sinister soundscapes of Metal Box, Wardle became disillusioned by politics within the band and their reluctance to play live. He eventually split from PiL in mid-1980 and embarked on a prolific solo career. Wobble is joined on stage by drummer Marc Layton-Bennett and Martin Chung.
Gurriers

Gurriers

22 Oct 2025 - 22 Oct 2025

Having made a striking entrance with their debut album, "Come and See," Irish guitar quintet Gurriers is poised to continue their sonic assault on modern issues. "Come and See," recorded in Leeds, launched with the intense track "Nausea," reimagining Jean Paul Sartre's novel through a raw, punk lens. The album fearlessly tackles themes of digital age existentialism, online narcissism, youth disillusionment, and sociopolitical commentary, drawing inspiration from Adam Curtis' "HyperNormalisation." Following the release of "Come and See," Gurriers, comprised of Dan Hoff, Ben O'Neill, Mark MacCormack, Pierce O'Callaghan, and Charlie McCarthy, have built upon the foundation laid by their debut. Despite the challenges of forming in early 2020 and navigating pandemic restrictions, the band refined their vision and garnered attention from figures like Anthony Fantano and BBC Radio 6 Music. Now, having toured extensively across Europe, Gurriers are gearing up to release their highly anticipated second album, promising to further their exploration of contemporary chaos with their signature razor-sharp, progressive punk sound. Bob Log III

Bob Log III

31 Aug 2025 - 13 Sept 2025

When Bob Log III was a child, he lost his left hand in a boating accident. It was soon replaced with a monkey paw, and a new guitar style was born. 'It's my own personal style, see,' Log says, 'the paw moves much quicker than a normal hand, so my real hand has to flop around a lot to compensate.'" Bob Log III, one man band crown prince of punk blues from Tuscon, Arizona. Witnessing Bob Log live is an unmissable and unforgettable experience. By rights he should be a punk blues stadium super star. He takes to the stage with his face masked in a crash helmet with a black visor and a telephone wired in it for a mic and wearing a blue jump suit. Bob then unleashes a torrent of hardcore Mississippi Delta blues, hip hop beats and punk rock. The crash helmet telephone distorts the vocals and his hands, arms, legs and feet become a blur of jump suit clad limbs as he plays slide, triggers drum machines and drums with his feet simultaneously. Bob then adds extra ingredients to this punk blues bouillabaisse with his unique version of audience participation. More often them not he’ll bounce a couple of audience members on his knees while playing, and then bring on the infamous Boob Scotch. The audience are invited to literally stick their boob in his scotch which he then drinks. If Bob feels satisfied, he will then launch into his anthem Boob Scotch! Everyone has to look out when the rubber dinghy makes an appearance.

Tunng

Tunng

20 Nov 2025 - 22 Nov 2025

Time flies when youre being Tunng. Can it really be over two decades since the band's genre-blurring, self-styled pagan folktronica first emerged from an east London studio courtesy of a clutch of Gilles Peterson-endorsed singles on the small but perfectly formed Static Caravan imprint It surely can, and what's more, January 2025 will mark the twentieth anniversary of This is Tunng... Mother's Daughter and Other Songs, a debut longplayer whose acoustic guitars and poetic disquisitions on nature, mythology and the human condition, courtesy of Sam Genders, sieved through fellow band founder Mike Lindsay's lattice of fractured beats and crackling electronics, still sounds like an impiously postmodern wedding of the rustic and the synthetic, the arcane and the futurist one for which the designation pagan folktronica is as good a shorthand as any. Whichever way we choose to describe it, that 20-year-old signature sound makes a warm return on Tunng's eighth studio album, Love You All Over Again, a winning amalgam of texture and melody, disconcerting imagery and shapeshifting production, predicated, Lindsay reveals, on a conscious reacquainting with the band's first principles. I went back to the first two albums just to listen to how we fused genres things like Davy Graham, Pentangle and the Wicker Man soundtrack, all of which I was discovering back then, together with Expanding Records [the Shoreditch-based repository of soi-disant beautiful electronic music], whose studio space we shared. That was all going into the early records. Over the years, Tunng's sound has varied and twisted, but at the root there is always a flavour of what Sam and I made on that first album. Rather than searching for a new avenue we went back to what we used to do, which, after all this time, felt like it was a new avenue... Love You All Over Again is our way of coming full circle. And what a circle it's been, one that has embraced global touring, chart-grazing singles (like live favourites Jenny Again from 2006, the following year's Bullets and 2010's Hustle), a jaw-dropping live collaboration with Tuareg desert blues combo Tinariwen (including two memorable Glastonbury performances in 2009 and 2010), and a catalogue of restlessly innovative albums for the Full Time Hobby label, beginning with folktronica exemplars Comments of the Inner Chorus in 2006 and Good Arrows in 2007. Subsequent longplayers would expand the Tunng palette, exploring more of a live band feel and embracing broader leftfield pop and psychedelic flavours, helping cement widespread acclaim and a loyal international audience in the process.
Sean Nicholas Savage

Sean Nicholas Savage

21 Sept 2025 - 21 Sept 2025

Playwright, director and singer songwriter Sean Nicholas Savage has returned to a pop palette with his most brilliant batch of classic ballads to date. His new album, “The Knowing” is a pivot; at once more subversive and yet more fashionable than ever before. Savage engaged several collaborators on this record. Longtime accomplice Pascal Chenard recorded and produced the record with Savage in London, England, where Savage was born. The lead single, “Your Drug”, a reflective duet with Arbutus Records label mate Marci, both familiar and yet with an edgy bareness that allows it to recontextualize its nostalgic trope. Belgian singer songwriter David Numwami played guitar on the songs “Stranger Than Fiction” and “Wild Things” and artist JJ Weihl aka Discovery Zone co-wrote “Pink Bouquet”. Cleverly tucked into the tracklist is a tender cover of Iggy Pop’s “Lust For Life”, somehow appropriately strummed softly in the vein of Green Days’ “Good Riddance”. Sean Nicholas Savage worked with Lulannie for the album artwork photos, which they took on their way out to a New Years Eve 2025 party in New York City. The song “I Love Everything About You” is about their relationship. Sean Nicholas Savage’s “The Knowing” is out on June 27th 2025 via Born Losers Records and Mansions & Millions. Winter

Winter

12 Nov 2025 - 12 Nov 2025

Brazilian-born guitarist singer/songwriter Samira Winter has been a mainstay in Los Angeles’ music scene for over a decade, carving out her own niche of gloriously detailed and eclectic dream pop under the name Winter. After growing up in Curitiba, Brazil and playing in her first bands in Boston, she relocated to Los Angeles in 2013 and fell in love with the city. She found a sense of belonging in its DIY rock community-the basement of her longtime Echo Park home was host to countless shows and even Winter’s first practices-and she grew attached to L.A.’s cosmic, inspiring aura. But at a certain point, Samira was craving a change of scenery to facilitate self-growth, a painful, but necessary realization that brought about a move to New York City. Leading up to her emotional coast-to-coast move, she spent roughly two years writing songs in a transitory state: often in between tours, in different cities, and in various sublets. The resulting 13 tracks became her new LP, Adult Romantix-her Winspear debut, the follow-up to 2022’s landmark What Kind of Blue Are You?, and a goodbye love letter to her time in L.A. Goblin Band, Milkweed & Spitzer Space Telescope
Broadside Hacks have won widespread critical acclaim for bringing the folk tradition to new generations of audiences. Building on their regularly sold-out nights in London, shows with The Pogues, and stages at SXSW, the group hosts their roster of celebrated artists this autumn with their most comprehensive set of shows to date. Taking turns in the limelight across a series of shows in UK and Ireland from September-November, among the headliners are experimental folk-duo Milkweed. Fresh from the release of acclaimed ‘album of the year’ contender Remscéla - inspired by Irish Epic the Táin Bó Cúailnge - the band are marking themselves as a must-see live act. Also arriving with original material - via a Bob Dylan tribute act that’s hitting the main stage at Green Man Festival this summer - Spitzer Space Telescope (AKA Dan MacDonald) was born and raised in St John, Michigan, spending a decade travelling across America and Europe before settling in England to bellow out his charismatic folk charms, and recalling the classics of The Clancy Brothers and Pete Seeger. Queer-folk quartet Goblin Band are rewriting the rulebook. Re-contextualising timeless, much-journeyed songs for the travails of contemporary society and the realities of the contemporary queer experience, expect a bulk of boundless, escapist joy too.
