Three-time Olivier Award-winner Sharon D Clarke is joined by Ncuti Gatwa ( Doctor Who; Sex Education ) in this joyful reimagining of Oscar Wilde’s most celebrated comedy. While assuming the role of a dutiful guardian in the country, Jack lets loose in town under a false identity. Meanwhile, his friend Algy adopts a similar facade. Hoping to impress two eligible ladies, the gentlemen find themselves caught in a web of lies they must carefully navigate. Max Webster ( Life of Pi ) directs this hilarious story of identity, impersonation and romance, filmed live from the National Theatre in London.

Aidan Sheridan Morrissey decided to form the band because of a life-long love of their music and the uncanny fact that he looked like Morrissey. The Joneses are now gigging all over the UK and planning gigs overseas, they have developed a very unique style based on The Smiths live gigs, as opposed to the studio recordings. The Vyne Theatre is delighted to present the highly acclaimed Ballet Vyne Company in its 8th Summer Gala with an intoxicating programme of classical ballet and contemporary works performed by a talented cast of young dancers who have links with our local community. The challenging Gala programme offers these future stars valuable performance experience and showcases their extraordinary skills. A dancer's life progresses through many stages of training as they follow their path towards a professional career and the Ballet Vyne provides an essential element, enhancing the training these dancers undergo at prestigious international and vocational colleges. In this programme, audiences will have the unique opportunity to support the progress of these young dancers as they perform traditional and new works especially choreographed for this Summer Gala '25. Act 1 includes highlights from the well-loved ballet Raymonda, while Act 2 offers a medley of new choreographic works as well as challenging traditional pieces chosen by the dancers themselves. Considered the Jewel in our Crown, the Ballet Vyne Company, celebrates the skill of its teachers, the talents of its dancers and, most importantly, the support of the Arts in our community. We are proud of our legacy with many of our former Ballet Vyne dancers now performing around the world.
