The Boomerang Club - Rock 'N' Roll Riot!
★★★ The Houserockers - RETURN LONDON GIG! Rob tells us,, Wow! Having formed 25 years agoand doing their last gig in December 2024. We decided to do a reform to do a long awaited last gig in France on my birthday on 25th June 2025. Since then we have been inundated with offers of gigs which until now we have declined. However, something wonderful happened in France with the addition for the one gig of Dave Diamond to join forces with Nick and myself it has proved to be another game changer! So the B side kings and dansette shindig trio are back and starting again with this gig! It's going to be 'hot' so do not miss the three of us and what happens after this who knows! ★★★ The Trafalgars - EXCLUSIVE LONDON GIG! The Trafalgars play a fiery set of British Rock n Roll.. The sound of coffee bars, dance halls and beat clubs Having shared the stage in various bands over the years Carlos Bandido ( The Bandidos) on vocals. Rob Tyler ( Sister Cookie) on drums. Emma Goss ( Sarah Vista ) on bass and Paul Gaskin ( The Blue Cats) on guitar.. discovered their shared love of British Rock n Roll and formed The Trafalgars in 2023. Expect twang, swagger and rhythm straight from the days when the Amps were small but the attitude was huge.. Spinning The Wax until the early hours we have the fantastic Nick 'The Demon Barber 'who will be playing awesome tunes between the bands and into the early hours! looking forward to seeing you all there..
Neo Rockabilly Explosion #3

Neo Rockabilly Explosion #3

26 Sept 2026 - 26 Sept 2026

The Boomerang Club London are very proud to present an explosive night of Neo Rockabilly for you!. DO NOT MISS IT!! - THE NEUTRONZ - EXCLUSIVE LONDON GIG! The Neutronz were formed in 2009 with the idea to play the neo tunes that introduced them to Rockabilly back in the early eighties. But after releasing three cds of mostly originals (Killer on the Loose, Knucklehead, Motel Hell), the set now compromises of a good mix of covers and originals. They have played weekenders, such as Viva, Hemsby, the Shakedown, and venues all over Europe and the UK. The band split in 2023 but recently reformed with the new lineup of Steve Clark on vocals and lead guitar, John Maddison on drums and Jez Jordan on double bass. They've recently released their new CD " Dead Elvis" featuring 11 self penned originals and 3 covers. WIGSVILLE SPLIFFS-RARE LONDON GIG! In the 1980's The Wigsville Spliffs were legendary at the iconic Klub Foot a cornerstone of the UK psychobilly and neo rockabilly scenes. Their distinctive sound earned them a place on numerous compilations like Rockin It Up, Stomping At The Klub Foot, and Zorch Factor and The James Deans of The Dole queue solidifying their status as genre pioneers. .. Comprising Ian Aitken (guitar/vocals), Danny Mowl (drums), and Mike Lister (bass), the original trio captivated audiences with their fast-paced neo-rockabilly melodies and hard-hitting bass lines. Al Capone and Highclass Power became instant fan favorites, showcasing their raw talent and infectious energy. In 2011, after a hiatus of 25 years, The Spliffs returned with their highly anticipated album Fat 41, released on Drunkabilly Records (BE). With Paul Richardson now on drums. From their humble beginnings to their appearances at the Klub Foot, The Wigsville Spliffs remain an essential part of the psychobilly and rockabilly scene, proving that their music transcends generations and continues to inspire fans worldwide. Spinning The Wax until the early hours we have the fabulous Chris Setzer who will be playing awesome tunes between the bands and into the early hours! looking forward to seeing you all there!!
We are Not Devo

We are Not Devo

5 Jun 2026 - 5 Jun 2026

We Are Not Devo Here we are, surveying the cerebrally challenged apefest that is the 21st Century, and we have to conclude that the De-Evolution Band were bang on the moneyWe Are ALL Devoyes, we have devolved just like Devo said was happening nigh on 50 years ago. Last time Bugbear hosted this remarkable bunch of guys n gal, the actual Devo, genius mavericks of post punk futurist pop and satirical psych grind, were about to take to the stage of an unforgiving enormodome across town, on an itinerary that was intended to be the Devo Retirement tour. Well, that turned out to be of an Ol' Blue Eyes type of credibility, what with them about to take to the same enormodome in London soon alongside the similarly vintaged B52s. No rock lobsters tonight, it's pooty poot poot all the way with this brilliant band from Sheffield. We Are Not Devo. They do it so very well. All the classics, delivered in the same intense and exciting manner, not to mention flower pot hats and orange boiler suits. Not to be missed, so whip it good. ULTRARABBIT - Some time Flesh Tetris front persons Andy Heintz and Eva Menon have joined forces with Paul K to create electronic dance music blending House, Funk, Disco and Rock whilst done up deliciously in sharp suits and rabbit ears. Did you know, if you say 'rabbit, rabbit, rabbit' first thing on awaking on the first of the month, good luck is assured all that month Me neither.
53rd&3rd - Ramones Tribute

53rd&3rd - Ramones Tribute

6 Jun 2026 - 6 Jun 2026

53RD&3RD - Celebrating their 30th anniversary this year (as are we at Bugbear as it happens) the original and very best Ramones tribute have been channeling all things Bruddas through good times and bad times, from Blitzkrieg Bop to Beat On the Brat, Rockaway Beach to RocknRoll Highschool. A superb interpretation of a remarkable back catalogue for sure, all leather jacketed, mop haired and sneaker adorned life is here. The integral importance of the Ramones to rocknroll should never be forgotten, and these guys have played a major role in keeping that flame alive. Yes, It's Alive. Go Mental. Martin Savage and the Jiggerz -Damaged Goods recording artistes, and a splendid power trio of garage scene adjacent faces who know a thing or two about the right way to retro.
