Sara has no interest in chasing trends. She's too busy chasing the muse instead, earning a wide range of accolades including Top 40 success on the Americana charts, international airplay, and more than a half-dozen trophies from the San Diego Music Awards along the way. A case in point is Fire & Rain not a tribute band, but a band of like minded lovers of the music of James Taylor. Fire & Rain formed in 2013 when Tom Townsend and Bob Walker were asked by a local music promoter to put together an homage to James Taylor. This was an opportunity not to be missed. Bob was commissioned to transcribe and arrange the music and the band was formed. Now, with years of gigs under their belt, the band has gone from strength to strength and are delighted to be still performing, and enjoying, this truly wonderful music. Paul plays drums with such great skill and taste and adds wonderful vocal harmonies to the mix. Bob Walker Freelance bass player Bob just loves playing with these fine musicians.
