Herbert & Momoko

Herbert & Momoko

27 Nov 2025 - 29 Nov 2025

Herbert & Momoko is the collaborative project from Matthew Herbert and Momoko Gill. With a shared background in experimental production and composition, the duo’s mutual passion for pushing sonic boundaries has played a crucial role in their respective careers to date. Their debut album Clay brings together original sampling techniques using a variety of sources - from Japanese kotos to basketballs, mixing found sounds with live improvisation and expansive vocal arrangements. Combining Herbert’s fleet-footed productions with Gill’s dexterous, melodic writing, their sound treads nimbly between the dancefloor and the more introspective moods of the early hours. Presented by Leftfoot. This is an 14+ event / 14 - 16s accompanied by an adult

Forge X Warped: Dr Banana, A For Alpha, Mattik + More
Waft meets wub and groove meets grit as Dr Banana and A For Alpha land in Sheffield this October for the very first FORGE x WARPED link up! A true futurist and preservationist, Dr Banana has become synonymous with unearthing long-lost plates and with running a highly respected label, which is now cemented as a cornerstone of the UK's house and garage scene. From standout international festivals including Dimensions, Love International and Slapfunk to top-tier UK destinations including Glastonbury, Gottwood and Houghton, the dubplate archaeologist never fails to deliver, maintaining his reputation as a crowd-moving selector of the finest order, whatever the setting. Behind the decks hes anything but retro; hes a selector with serious range. Expect high-velocity vinyl blends of UKG, electro, breaks, minimal, and everything in between. Joining him on this very exciting bill is the one and only A For Alpha! Known for her sharp, vinyl-led selections that flirt between UK tech-house, UKG, dubby rollers and minimal percussive slappers, shes quickly made a name for herself across the UK circuit as a true selectors selector. We can't wait to see her throw it down in the FORGE main warehouse before handing over to Dr B. On support duties were very excited to welcome the unmistakable dance floor damager Mattik from Manchester, up-and-coming Sheffield talent Jodie Tyler, and local legends Steel Dancin, who will be taking over the Workroom with a blistering lineup including ARAWA, DJ I DON'T MIND, Freddie Grisbi, Loopy, Matty Nicol and Mud Girl.
