The project started in 1992 renovating derelict buildings for the people of Caernarfon. This not for profit community enterprise now runs a selection of performance spaces including a theatre/cinema, two studios, 24 business/work units, the DOC Cafe Bar and more. Featuring a programme of arts, theatre, film and music as well as actively engaging with the local community to achieve their vision to 'implement sustainable projects in a creative way to realise the cultural, economic and environmental potential of the local community and its environs.' The nearest train station is in Bangor with regular buses to Caernarfon from Bangor, Pwllheli and Porthmadog.
