StillMarillion are the established tribute to the Fish Era of British prog rock legends Marillion. Covering the first four classic albums and associated tracks of the era, the focus is on the music and recapturing the live experience of songs that are rarely if at all performed by Fish or Marillion anymore. Fronted by vocalist Martin Jakubski, who also features in original Marillion guitarist Steve Rothery's solo band. The band features a high calibre of experienced musicians who have played with the likes of Abel Ganz and former Iron Maiden singer Paul Dianno.

Steve Ignorant is a singer/songwriter and artist. He co-founded the anarcho-punk band Crass with Penny Rimbaud in 1977. After Crass stopped performing in 1984, he worked with other groups including Conflict, Schwartzeneggar, Stratford Mercenaries, Current 93, and US punk band Thought Crime, as well as occasional solo performances. Steve is also a wood sculptor and volunteer on the Sea Palling Independent Lifeboat, has written his autobiography All The Rest Is Propaganda- and has worked as a traditional Punch and Judy performer using the name Professor Ignorant. Steve is now performing with his new band Slice Of Life. A far cry from the aggression of Crass, nevertheless compelling with powerful songs delivered in an acoustic style. Impossible to categorise, Slice Of Life's music is up-front and soul-baringly personal. It's a mixture of songs and spoken word that draws you in and stays with you long after the final note has been played. Debut album Love And A Lamp-post was released on Overground records in late 2014, surprising many with its honesty and change of style for Steve. A new bassist followed in early 2015, along with new songs and extensive touring all over the UK, as well as dates in Finland, and festival slots at Rebellion, Wickerman and Something Else A Bit North.

The Wedding Present, formed from the ashes of Lost Pandas, were founded in Leeds, England, in 1985. The only constant member throughout the group's history was singer/songwriter David Gedge. The initial line-up included guitarist Peter Solowka, bassist Keith Gregory, and drummer Shaun Charman.

Foo fighters GB are a midlands based tribute band who’s goal is to provide a true-to-life reconstruction of a real Foo Fighters performance at any and every show. They pride themselves in bringing the true, authentic Foo Fighters experience to you. Over the past 6 years and a few line up changes, the sound that Foo Fighters GB produce has been constantly refined and this is reflected in the equipment that they use; Lead guitarist, Nath Peach and front man, Dan O’Connell, utilise the sounds of a Mesa Boogie and Vox AC30, teamed with Gibson Les Pauls, Explorers and a DG335 and Fender custom shop Telecasters. Bassist, Connor Croxford uses a Fender P bass along with an Ashdown Bass stack. Russ Weller, Drums, has a Gretch USA custom pink, which was custom built to match the kit Taylor Hawkins used at Glastonbury festival. He also has a Gretch USA custom Bell Brass snare and A custom Zildjian cymbals. Jim Freeman, keys, uses a Nord Electro D6. All of this plus the experience in the field, having played multiple large festivals to tens of thousands of people, mean that Foo Fighters GB provide a groundbreaking, authentic experience at any and every show.

Pygmy Twylyte bring the music of Frank Zappa back to MacArts! So prolific was Frank Zappa's output, that it is nearly impossible to present a representative sample of his work in just one concert. Over the course of his life, and since his death in 1993, over one hundred official Zappa albums have been released, alongside countless bootlegs. These range from 60s psychedelia with the Mothers of Invention, Jazz and Rock material tinged with Zappa's own inimitable spin, through to orchestral compositions performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, among others. Navigating the vast Zappa oeuvre then is no mean feat, but Scotlands Pygmy Twylyte have embraced the challenge with gusto. Since their inception in 2018, the band have selected a core body of classic material, complemented with a rotating offering of more obscure cuts, and blasted this to delighted audiences across the UK.

Echobelly debuted in 1993 with their debut EP, Bellyache, on the independent Pandemonium label. The favourable response including gushing press reviews and sold out gigs ensured the securing of a recording contract with Epic via their subsidiary, Rhythm King. Their first single, was Insomniac and the album, Everyone's Got One, reached number 8 in the UK Album charts.

Devoted to recreating the atmosphere of a live Joy Division gig, Transmission emulate the sound of one of the most inventive, evocative and influential groups of their era. Joy Division were formed in the late 1970s and dissolved in 1980 after the suicide of lead singer Ian Curtis. The remaining members went on to form New Order and have achieved much critical and commercial success. The influence of Joy Division, however, was far reaching. They were considered the pioneering band of the post-punk movement of the late 1970s and early 1980s. Forty three years on you can relive the dark, cavernous sound of Joy Division through Transmission - the UK's number one Joy Division tribute act.

BC Camplight is an England-based American songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His 2005 album Hide, Run Away was released by One Little Indian and featured Cynthia G. Mason on vocals. Camplight's follow-up, Blink of a Nihilist, was released in 2007, and his third album came out in January 2015 on Bella Union.

Wasted Youth were an English post-punk band from London, England, active between 1979 and 1982, which blended post-punk/pre-Goth with dark acoustic strains of the sort associated with Nick Drake and Syd Barrett. In 2021, Ken Scott and Rocco Barker announced that they were reviving Wasted Youth, with new members joining the band. The first shows for the reformed band sold out within hours of going on sale.

After being the lead singer for Transvision Vamp, Wendy James decided to pursue a solo career. She wrote a letter to Elvis Costello about her situation and was surprised when Costello wrote an entire album for her. A vital component of the infamous ‘Madchester’ movement, Inspiral Carpets formed in Oldham in 1980. Known for hit singles such as ‘This Is How It Feels’, ‘Saturn 5’ and ‘She Comes in the Fall’, they remain much-loved not only in Manchester but across the UK.

Kris Barras Band’s Death Valley Paradise crashed into the Official UK Album Charts at #27 in March 2022 - their highest charting album yet. Hailing a new beginning, they are heavier and darker than ever. “Dead Horses,” “My Parade,” “Who Needs Enemies” and “Chaos” were all A-listed at Planet Rock Radio and spent multiple weeks as the most played songs on the station. Guitarist Magazine hailed Barras as “reminiscent of shredders like Zakk Wylde”, and Classic Rock applauded the “pummelling riffs and from-the-gut vocals show his hard-rock colours at their brightest.” The moment they announced the first single, “Dead Horses”, they changed gear and have not looked back. From a UK tour with Back Stone Cherry in 2021 – culminating with a show at the Royal Albert Hall, before they then supported The Darkness for two special nights at London’s Shepherd Bush Empire. They spent March 2022 taking on, venue-wise, their biggest UK headline tour, selling out shows along the way. They then took on the massive stage of London’s Wembley Arena in support of Thunder and sailed through a triumphant Download festival debut on the second stage this summer. The ex-MMA/Cage fighter Barras has played the London Palladium, mainstages at festivals such as Planet Rockstock, Ramblin’ Man Fair and countless sold-out UK headline tours whilst picking up awards, multiple BBC Radio 2 sessions, critical acclaim and a fervent fanbase along the way.

From a background working in left-wing English fringe theatre groups, Punishment Of Luxury were a four-man post-punk band formed in December 1976 in Newcastle. Taking their name from an 1891 painting by Giovanni Segantini in the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, the band consisted initially of Brian Bond (born Brian Rapkin vocals), Neville Luxury (born Neville Atkinson guitar, vocals), Red Helmet (guitar, vocals), Jimi Giro (bass guitar, vocals), and Liquid Les Denham (drums). They released a single, Puppet Life on the Small Wonder label in July 1978. In 1979 they signed to United Artists and released the singles Engine Of Excess and, with new drummer Steve Sekrit (born Steven Robson), Secrets, and the album Laughing Academy. In the Summer of 1979 they played at the Reading Rock Festival after Bostik Swastika and The Cure and before The Tourists and Motörhead. 1980 saw the release of the single Laughing Academy. An extensive European tour followed and United Artists sent the band into the studio to record another album, a concept album to be called Gigantic Days. However while the recording was still going on, United Artists were taken over by EMI, who dropped the band. A final European tour was followed by Bond's departure. Neville, Sekrit and Giro recruited guitarist Tim Magenta to a new lineup, now going by the name Punilux. They released a further album on the Red Rhino label, 7 in 1983, with Magenta replaced by Rab Aitch, before Neville Luxury went solo, releasing the mini-album Feels Like Dancing Wartime in 1984. The album Gigantic Days was finally released, on CD, in 1998 by Overground Records.

Blues is the teacher. Punk is the preacher. Its all about emotion and energy, experience and raw talent, spirit and intellect. Exciting things happen when these things collide. Bob Vennum and Lisa Kekaula made the BellRays happen in 1991 in Riverside but they weren't really thinking about any of this then. They wanted to play music and they wanted it to feel good. They wanted people to WANT to get up, to NEED to get up and check out what was going on. Form an opinion. React. So they took everything they knew about; the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, the Who, the Ramones, Billie Holiday, Lou Rawls, Hank Williams, the DB's, Jimmy Reed, Led Zeppelin, to name a very few and pressed it into service. It was never about coming up with a 'sound', or fitting in with a scene. It was about the energy that made all that music so irresistible. It was the history BEFORE Led Zeppelin that led them to that point. The Beatles thought they were playing R&B. It just came out like 'Rubber Soul'. The Ramones were trying to be Del Shannon or Neil Sedaka and out came 'Rocket to Russia'. With the BellRays there was no conscious effort to 'combine' rock and soul because they didn't see them as divided in the first place. Blues was teaching. Punk was preaching. The BellRays were always listening.
