Sound of The Sirens

Sound of The Sirens

23 May 2026 - 28 Nov 2026

Exeter-based duo Abbe Martin and Hannah Wood dovetail beautifully on their debut album, For All Our Sins, a beguiling acoustic pop collection replete with lyrical sensibility on tracks like the first single, Smokescreen (“Living beyond the darkness others create for us, and growing into something positive”), The Circus (“When everyone wants something from you, who can you trust?”) and Mr Wilson (“The chemistry of a new relationship, unsure of where it is going, but knowing that you want more from it”). Already championed by Chris Evans – who declared himself “blown away” when he heard Sound of the Sirens for the first time – they’re certain to broaden a burgeoning fan base on the back of For All Our Sins. It’s a fan base built up not just over several sublime EP self-releases – but also through their live shows, which combine a natural facility for connecting with their audiences and unforgettable performances predicated on energy, warmth, humour and, above all, real conviction.
Ian Bruce and Kev Green

Ian Bruce and Kev Green

4 Sept 2026 - 4 Sept 2026

Ian Bruce and Kev Green are musical veterans and have come together from two totally different spheres. Ian from a mostly sitting listening folk audience and Kev from the more raucous rock and fun filled pubs and venues of his local Kent of the eighties. They woo their audiences using strong vocal harmonies, guitar, ukulele, hand percussion and a strong sense of humour and commitment to music and the job in hand. Their stage demeanour is not only musically harmonious but there is an obvious strong friendship which instantaneously grabs and includes every audience member. Their most recent album "Believe Me, I'm Lying" includes ten examples of their thoughtful collaborative songwriting and was nominated as Celtic Radio Album of the Year.

The Songs of Nick Drake - Keith James and Richie Cotterill
Nick Drake is one of the most revered and loved of all this countrys acoustic Singer-Songwriters. He has given us timeless songs that shed all the tears of life within their fragile yet perfect lines. He recorded three cherished albums between 1969 and 1972 but was almost entirely unknown in his day. After his tragic death in 1974 aged only 26 his music almost disappeared into obscurity. Now, thanks to a massive resurgence of interest and a worldwide re-evaluation of his unique music, Nick Drake has become a national treasure. Several meticulously compiled biographies look at every aspect of Nicks life and music, throwing light on many shadowy corners of mystery and supposition. Three decades have now passed since Singer/Guitarist Keith James first astonished the whole country with his stunningly beautiful series of concerts. He was the first artist ever to bring these intriguing songs to theatres and arts venues across the UK, and remains to this day, the foremost artist devoted to performing Nicks music in its pure live acoustic form. Over the past 30 years, Keith has performed over 1200 highly acclaimed concerts in venues across the UK, Ireland, Holland, France, Italy, and Spain including all of Nicks schools and colleges even Glastonbury Festival. Keith will be joined by flautist Richie Cotterill. Musicians brave enough to play the music they really believe in.
