London Concertante brings Vivaldi’s masterpiece to life in a wonderful concert featuring gems of baroque music. This concert features Vivaldi’s Four Seasons; a jewel of the composer’s extraordinary ability to illustrate moods as diverse and contrary as violent winds or birdsong, fox hunts and drunken stumbles! We combine this with one of the most beautiful pieces for the violin, Vaughan-Williams’ transcendental "The Lark Ascending", which takes you on a journey to the heights of poetic nature’s landscapes. A stunning concert celebrating the virtuosity of the violin in all its forms.

Guildford Cathedral is proud to present its series of daytime Coffee Concerts, featuring an impressive variety of musical talent. This Tour involves climbing 249 steps to the top of the Tower led by expert Guides. The reward is a stunning view over Surrey and the surrounding area.(weather permitting!) Please read the restrictions carefully as to age and health. For health and safety reasons no children under eight years old will be allowed on the Tour. All children under sixteen years of age must be accompanied by an adult. No person over eighty years of age, infirm, disabled, pregnant, suffers heart disorders or suffering from any other medical or physical condition which could be affected by the climb will be allowed onto the Tour. Visitors sign a risk acceptance form. Join our Tower Tour Guides on an exciting journey spiralling up the 249 steps to the top of Guildford Cathedral. Pass through our Ringing Chamber and Bell Chamber containing the only ring of 12 bells in the Diocese. Enjoy the stunning 360° views across Guildford and towards London.

Our informal service for toddlers and pre-schoolers takes place on the first Wednesday of each month at 10.00am. Each session of Cathedral Tots includes toys, songs, a Bible story, prayer, craft and refreshments. Cathedral Tots is a free activity, with a welcoming and relaxed community of parents/carers and young children. There is currently no requirement to book places for these services. All children must be accompanied by an adult. 80th Anniversary of VJ Day County Service
Join us in the Cathedral today for Choral Evensong as we celebrate the 80th Anniversary of VJ Day. Please either download or print off a copy of the Order of Service and bring it with you. If you can, we do encourage you to download the PDF prior to the service, as this helps us to reduce our environmental impact. There will be a few printed copies available for those who do not have internet access. This service will be live streamed through our YouTube channel. For those members of our congregation who do not wish to appear on the broadcast, please sit to the right-hand side of the Nave and our streaming team will do their best to avoid this area.
