Our informal service for toddlers and pre-schoolers takes place on the first Wednesday of each month at 10.00am. Each session of Cathedral Tots includes toys, songs, a Bible story, prayer, craft and refreshments. Cathedral Tots is a free activity, with a welcoming and relaxed community of parents/carers and young children. There is currently no requirement to book places for these services. Messy Cathedral In Guildford Cathedral Messy Cathedral is worship for all ages, young and old alike. We will start with a late breakfast of juice and pastries then make music, share stories and think together about the Bible story of ‘The Unexpected Guest’. Finally, we will have plenty of time to get creative with crafts and games that help us to explore the story and what it means for us today. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Threads Through The Cross Exhibition tour and talk An exclusive tour with Jacqui Parkinsonoin renowned textile artist Jacqui Parkinson for a tour and discussion of her exhibition Threads Through The Cross. We’ll take time to explore a few scenes from the life of Jesus and there’ll be an opportunity to ask Jacqui questions about how the exhibition developed and the impact on her life. Gather by the welcome desk in the Nave. Jacqui will guide you through a discussion of some of the panels in the exhibition and answer your questions.

Join renowned textile artist Jacqui Parkinson as she guides you through a practical workshop. Host Of Angels Consider the angels we find in the pages of the Bible and those depicted down the years by various artists. At the end of the workshop, everyone will have designed their own angel to take home as a reminder that we live in a world full of the unexpected. Gather in the Chapter House where Jacqui will guide you through a practical workshop, and everyone will go home with their own depiction of an Angel
