Purpose built theatre featuring a main auditorium (capacity 197) and a smaller Coward Studio that can accommodate up to 50 for a production. With two bar facilities, there are a number of conference, meeting and function rooms that can be hired for both business meetings and private social events.

One of the most famous and beloved musicals of the 20th Century comes to Hampton Hill Theatre for the first time. Featuring well-known songs such as On The Street Where You Live , I Could Have Danced All Night , Ascot Gavotte and Get Me To The Church On Time , Lerner & Loewe's My Fair Lady is a feast for the eyes and ears. And yet underneath the flowers and froth is a serious study of class struggle and the part played by privilege and education. Based on George Bernard Shaw's 1912 play Pygmalion , it was first produced on Broadway in 1956 with Julie Andrews as Eliza Doolittle and Rex Harrison as Henry Higgins. It won 10 Tony Awards and ran for over 6 years (2,717 performances, a record at the time). In 1958 it transferred to London with its original stars, running for another 51/2 years. RexHarrison reprised his role in the 1964 feature film, but Audrey Hepburn (with singing dubbed by Marni Nixon) replaced JulieAndrews.

Matilda's school life isn't completely smooth sailing, however the school's mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children and just loves thinking up new punishments for those who don't abide by her rules. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts and could be the school pupils' saving grace!
