Weird Nightmare

Weird Nightmare

29 Aug 2026 - 5 Sept 2026

Every band worth its salt has a member who worked in a record store. In METZ, the fearless noise rock trio who released five full-length albums on Sub Pop between 2012 and 2024, it was singer and guitarist Alex Edkins. Slinging indie rock and hardcore records in his hometown record store while attending university, Edkins became an ardent student of rock 'n' roll; from the psychedelic 1960s to the DIY 1990s and beyond. The new Weird Nightmare album, Hoopla, mixes and matches these wide-ranging influences in fun, exhilarating combinations, showcasing his sophisticated musical mind. Bursting to life with hooks and earworms. Co-produced by Edkins and Spoon's Jim Eno at Seth Manchester's Machines With Magnets in Providence, RI. Edkins expands Weird Nightmare's dimensions to new heights, gilding the direct emotions of his straightforward songwriting with musical textures such as piano, bells, and castanets, giving these well-wrought tunes a shiny luster. Following the previously released single "Forever Elsewhere," which Stereogum called "... an undeniably infectious power-pop anthem", Weird Nightmare has shared an official video for their new song, "Might See You There," which was directed by CC Mulligan. Edkins shares about the track: "'Might See You There' is about going back to visit my hometown and being flooded with teenage nostalgia. Small-town boredom and isolation almost feel like a gift in today's highly connected world. I feel fortunate for that time spent idly, down in the basement, learning the entire Rancid 'Let's Go' album on guitar with my friends. I find it easy to romanticise that time in my life, even though I was, without question, a disgruntled kid who badly wanted to escape my surroundings and see the world. "I was listening to a lot of the Irish bands The Undertones and Protex while writing this one, and I think there is a fair bit of their influence. Just the simplicity and big bar chords mostly. Seth Manchester and I were very into the idea of adding piano and bells to the outro, akin to the Phil Spector-produced 'End of the Century' album by The Ramones. The great Julianna Riolino sings with me on the choruses, too!" Age restriction: 14+ / U16s accompanied by an adult

A Place To Bury Strangers

A Place To Bury Strangers have been delighting and astonishing audiences for close to two decades, combining post-punk, noise-rock, shoegaze, psychedelia, and avant-garde music in startling and unexpected ways. In concert, A Place To Bury Strangers is nothing short of astounding - a shamanistic experience that bathes listeners in glorious sound, crazed left turns, transcendent vibrations, real-time experiments, brilliant breakthroughs.
The Blow Monkeys

The Blow Monkeys

10 Sept 2026 - 17 Oct 2026

With hits like ‘Digging Your Scene’ and ‘It Doesn’t Have To Be This Way’, The Blow Monkeys epitomised the glamour of mid-80s pop at its most graceful and sophisticated. In the band’s frontman Robert Howard (aka Dr. Robert), they possessed a tall, charismatic singer who was both camera-friendly and clever, who appeared to be just as much at ease on the catwalk that is pop’s conveyor belt as he was penning witty, incisive songs. While quite clearly Robert’s band, though, the Blow Monkeys were also gifted three immensely talented musicians in bassist Mick Anker (he of the trademark bowler hat), saxophonist Neville Henry and drummer Tony Kiley. Behind the band’s stylish veneer lay something else, which became increasingly apparent from Robert’s lyrics. While some of the Smash Hits generation avoided politics with a capital P, The Blow Monkeys openly criticised the policies of the Conservative government, railing against social injustices and adopting an openly left-of-centre stance on issues of the day. From openly endorsing the gay community “Digging Your Scene” to an outright attack on Margaret Thatcher ‘Celebrate (The Day After You)’ – a duet with the late, great Curtis Mayfield, The Blow Monkeys were always the thinking person’s pop group. As the 1980s progressed, so too did the band’s musical style, from a sound once dubbed “jazz punk” by Robert to a more soulful, jazzy style and an ever-increasing adoption of dance music. The Blow Monkeys of their rare, indie debut single ‘Live Today Love Tomorrow’ (recorded on a shoestring in 1981) would be barely recognisable to those who bought the Balearic remix of ‘La Passionara’ from 1990. And yet a soulful, spiritually uplifting strain has continued to run through their music – and, indeed, that of Robert’s solo recordings – to this day.
Jesus Jones

Jesus Jones

24 Jul 2026 - 10 Dec 2026

A British alternative rock outfit from Bradford-on-Avon in Wiltshire, Jesus Jones' kinetic mix of samples, pop, dance, and techno resulted in one huge international hit single, "Right Here, Right Now." Known for their strong melodies and hooks, and for meshing club overtones with traditional rock guitar, the group, alongside contemporaries like EMF, the Shamen, and Pop Will Eat Itself, helped shape the '90s alternative rock scene by showing that sample-driven dance music could comfortably fit into pop music. While their popularity faded in the early 2000s, they continued to perform and record, albeit sporadically, with their sixth studio long-player, Passages, arriving in 2018 after a lengthy hiatus.

Heathen Apostles

Heathen Apostles

Born of the voices of past lives and baptized in the dust bowl dirt, the Gothic Americana music of the Heathen Apostles harkens back to a bygone chapter of American history. Using contrasting influences such as Bauhaus, Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds and The Pogues along with Howlin’ Wolf, Loretta Lynn and Bessie Smith, the Heathen Apostles have created a style of music that at once conjures both angels and demons, and will enlighten a darkened soul. Gothic Americana is a genre that is fast taking hold around the world, in that it combines the sub-genres of gothic country & bluegrass, dark blues, murderfolk and depression-era jazz. The Heathen Apostles are amongst the first to inject all four into their incendiary music.

Superchunk & Oblivians

Superchunk & Oblivians

23 Jun 2026 - 29 Jun 2026

Superchunk + Oblivians (14+ under 16's with and adult) Superchunk After the shocking, and for many, demoralizing result of the 2016 election, “I didn’t buy the silver lining some were promoting that ‘well, at least art and music will be great now!’,” says Superchunk co-founder and frontman Mac McCaughan. “Obviously, any sane person would gladly trade four to eight years of terrible music for not having our country dismantled to satisfy the whims of a vengeful child and his enablers.” That said, good music and art still have a lot to say, and the urgency of current events gave Mac, Laura, Jim, and Jon the momentum to make something new sooner than later. “It would be strange to be in a band, at least our band, and make a record that completely ignored the surrounding circumstances that we live in and that our kids are going to grow up in.” Enter What a Time to Be Alive, Superchunk’s first album in over four years. It’s a record, says Mac, “about a pretty dire and depressing situation but hopefully not a record that is dire and depressing to listen to.” Indeed, like so much of Superchunk’s music in the band’s nearly three decades together, the songs on What a Time to Be Alive meet rage and anxiety head-on with the catharsis and exhilaration of loud punk fire and vulnerable pop energy. Like 2013’s I Hate Music, which focused on death, loss, and the role of music in an aging life, the new record brings spirit to the frontlines of pain—it’s as defiant as it is despairing, as much a call to arms as a throwing up of hands.

Republica

16 Oct 2026 - 29 Nov 2026

Republica are back and have been very active recently. They released their highly acclaimed new EP ‘Christiana Obey’ and promoted it with a sold out UK tour and selected European festival appearances including the prestigious Isle Of Wight Festival, Norway’s Midnattsrocken Festival, The Welsh GB Rally and Hanover's Ferryman Festival in Germany. Republica dominated the charts in the Nineties and exploded back in 2013 with a new EP, UK tour and festival slots. The band's iconic and fiery front woman, Saffron, Tim Dorney (keyboard) and Johnny Male (guitar) rode the Britpop wave of female-fronted rock bands like Sleeper, Elastica, Garbage and Lush, injecting it with their self-dubbed 'techno-pop, punk rock' sound. Between 1996 and 1999, Republica sold an incredible 3 million albums and clinched Top 5 slots in the UK, America and Europe with platinum sales across the globe, while their hit single ‘Ready to Go’ soared to Number One in many countries. The band has never really been away, with their music becoming the soundtrack to the past few decades – ‘Ready to Go’ featured on more than 300 films and adverts and Wes Craven selected their hit single, ‘Drop Dead Gorgeous’ for the soundtrack to his hit movie Scream and invited them to perform at its Hollywood premiere. With her unique sound and iconic image, it is only natural that Saffron has been in demand from a host of the world's biggest music acts, including The Prodigy, who used her vocals on ‘Fuel My Fire’ from their critically-acclaimed ‘Fat of the Land’ album. Saffron also worked with The Cure on single ‘Just Say Yes’; collaborated with Junkie XL for his 2003 album ‘Radio JXL: A Broadcast from the Computer Hell Cabin’ and scored a number one dance single with him; she duetted with Gary Numan, recorded ‘Pork-U-Pine’ with Jeff Beck for his album, ‘Jeff’; worked with DJ Carl Cox on ‘Get What You Paid 4’ and also worked with artists including Jah Wobble - who wrote ‘World Of You’ for her - N-Joi - performing on their hit, ‘Anthem’ - Mark Moore, St Etienne and The Shamen. Republica have been touring constantly over the last couple of years with a sell out 20th anniversary tour co-headlining with Space, performances in Dubai, Israel and Germany and a sell out UK tour with Sir Bob Geldolf’s Boomtown Rats. Their first 2 albums are being reissued this year as Deluxe Double and Triple CDs to be followed by the highly anticipated new album.
Part Chimp

Part Chimp

27 Aug 2026 - 28 Aug 2026

In the psychic wastelands of the 21st century, one particular sonic force looms large. Transcendental like the malignant force that fuels the zombie movies of lore, Part Chimp have made it their business to shake speaker-stacks, fry brains and induce jouissance and tinnitus alike across the UK. The band's live show is everything that makes Part Chimp the most intimidating primate fit to lay waste to Bath. It is a fearsome testimony to a band with a skewed melodic skill to match their mighty potency. Echoes of their forebears - the ornery prehistoric lurch of Melvins and the droogy ur-clang of Sonic Youth among them - can be distantly discerned, yet they’re now drowned out by an individual assault as pulverising as invigorating, nihilistic yet life-affirming. This band will demolish your house, but you’ll cheerfully thank them for it afterwards. The bands joy at playing live comes through the panic and chaos of always being on the verge of a sonic calamity. Mostly due to their decrepit equipment, never writing set lists, drunkenness and under-rehearsing. People are used to some degree of professionalism when they see a band. There’s a lot of ‘confidence’ in music these days which can leave audiences cold. Part Chimp have always represented the shambolic element of performance. We love it when peoples gear messes up, strings break, amps fritzing. It brings out the reckless abandon in a performance... which is precisely what we will get from Part Chimp

Theatre

Theatre

5 Oct 2026 - 14 Oct 2026

There’s very little, if anything, known about the Limerick band, THEATRE, who seem to be moving in the shadows of Ireland’s explosive music scene. The five piece, made up of Dara, Oscar, Gerry and Sean, have whipped up a storm of excitement through their outstanding live shows; gorgeous, emotive melodies; and the stunning vocals of lead singer, Maeve. Blending ethereal rock music with folk and shoegaze, the music is understated yet feels timeless, and their songs seem to enter your body, trance-like, and never leave. Despite the spotlight shining so heavily on Irish music at the moment, they have spent a year writing and building their live set and have quietly become the ones to look out for on any line up. Now breaking their silence and set to release their first single ’The Fall’ the tension is certainly rising and there is a sense that finally, all will be revealed.

Kylie Wears Berghaus

Kylie Wears Berghaus

9 Oct 2026 - 9 Oct 2026

Kylie Wears Berghaus is a new and totally unique act that reimagines Kylie for maximum dancefloor effect with an entire set of custom-made edits. After 4 roadblock parties (incl. 3 sell-outs) at Yes and the DBA in Manchester, KGB has launched in London and Bristol, as well as making its festival debut at London's Wide Awake in May. Inspired by a 2012 white label with the same name, Kylie Wears Berghaus is a headline set of bespoke Kylie dubs, all made in house. The edits are exclusive to KWB - you won't hear them anywhere else. It's an unprecedented 2 hours of first-time aired bootlegs, steeped in white label culture. Finger on the pulse house and techno classily roll under sultry Kylie classics like Can't Get You Out of My Head and Slow. Tasteful tech-house and trance-y drops blow the roof off In Your Eyes, I Believe In You and Love At First Sight. This is Kylie like you've never heard her before. Classics like Turn the Page, Born Slippy and 138 Trek bring a distinctly UK energy, playfully contrasting with Kylie's more sentimental bangers like All the Lovers and On a Night Like This. 80s favourites Locomotion, Hand on Your Heart and I Should be So Lucky enter the fray in good taste, over bouncy speed-garage and cutting edge broken-techno - alongside Kylie's latest era of Padam and her Blessed Madonna collaboration, Edge of Saturday Night, all rethought for left-of-centre dance-floors. KWB's headline sets channel a tongue-in-cheek appreciation of the princess of pop, re-contextualising her finest moments over euphoric slammers from across the board. Keep both eyes on what is undoubtedly one of the most exciting new acts around. For accessibility enquiries & carer tickets, please read the accessibility document on the Hare & Hounds website.

Ellie Gowers

Ellie Gowers

1 Nov 2026 - 26 Nov 2026

Since emerging on the UK folk scene with her 2022 debut album Dwelling by the Weir, Ellie Gowers has captivated audiences with songs rooted in folklore, ecology and the nuanced stories of her hometown, Warwick. Lauded by The Guardian as 'full of delicacy, precision and gentle delight,' the album established her as a compelling new presence on the UK touring circuit. Ellie joins us this autumn as part of her UK tour, celebrating the release of an extended edition of her celebrated 2024 EP - You The Passenger. This expanded release builds on the critical success of the original EP, which earned national airplay on BBC Radio 2 (Mark Radcliffe), BBC 6 Music (Lauren Laverne's Fantastic Beats), and RADMAC, alongside the KLOF premiere of her video A Moment and multiple major playlist features. Inspired by the likes of MIPSO and Jeff Buckley, Ellie’s new material sees her pushing into more emotionally spacious and contemporary territory - while retaining the grounded storytelling that first brought her acclaim with 2022’s Dwelling by the Weir. These songs explore the aftermath of life on the road: themes of absence, longing, and emotional duality woven through rich acoustic textures and lyrical craft.

Clarion

Clarion

25 Aug 2026 - 6 Sept 2026

Formed, almost accidentally, in a shared east LA lockout, the members of Clarion came together to write music together in late 2023. Anthony, Saya and Joseph had all had spent time in the local DIY scene of East Los Angeles and in 2024 decided to record the songs they had been writing in a quick three-day sprint. They implemented efforts like layering multiple amps in stereo, panned left to right with different tones, to create an illusion of two guitarists. They tried every idea that came to mind, allowing the songs to become fully realized instead of rushed. The result is an immersive and youthful mix of shoegaze, post-punk, and Japanese rock. These recordings became their debut EP, simply titled Clarion. The song Hello Juliet from that EP quickly gained traction on TikTok when a fan-made video started to go viral. Of the song, singer and bassist Saya Oliva says The song is about wanting to make it right with someone. Guitarist Anthony Sanchez adds, I ended up writing the riff and song after one of my best friends passed, and we weren't on the best of terms when it happened so the lyrics really reflect that feeling of regret, of wanting to start over. From there, they were catapulted from their local DIY scene to a much bigger stage. Signing with Broke Records in 2025, Hello Juliet continued to grow and find more listeners as it currently has more than 55 million streams across platforms. Opportunities to tour with artists like Violent Vira, Rehash, Mexican Slum Rats, and Minds Eye followed in 2025 as the band honed their live set and added touring member Javier Flores on drums. Intent on fully earning their touring stripes in 2026, they are heading out on the road supporting shoegaze legends Panchiko and embarking on their own national headline tour. As busy as they are, community is at the core of Clarion. You can still find them jumping onstage at their local Dennys for a sold out DIY show or hosting their annual Christmas charity benefit show in Pomona. When they arent on tour, theyre back in the room where they started jamming, debating, refining, and crafting a sound big enough to swallow the space around them. Off the success of their debut EP, theyve released a handful of singles leading into Blue Fairy, their new EP out now.

Music For Your Heart: ...an energetic and powerful folk music that takes us from the first seconds of the song. Tambourhinoceros: Both production, songwriting and performance is pretty flawless Medium.com: Dessie Magee possesses that raw, poetic passion that few singer-songwriters can harness. His husky voice and powerful delivery and its absolutely addictive. For those tired of the man and a guitar formula, let Dessie lead you back in. Mp3hugger: An epic capable of closing any set and leaving us gasping for more. Impressive stuff EarToTheGround: A great mix of Irish sounds with an alt twist Various Small Flames: "The vocals are distinctive and its hard not to get swept away by the energy Chillfiltr- "This voice just gets me. Dessie Magee is a singer-songwriter based in Brighton, originally from Ireland. It's all raw, heart-on-the-sleeve kind of stuff. It is certainly a second coming of the sort of spirit in Astral Weeks by Van Morrison, or even a folky Joe Cocker. There is that free-flowing emotion and the raspy grit that doesn't stand in the way of the high notes." Eartothegroundmusic- Dessie Magee has some of the best pure rock vocals weve heard in a long time. The overall composition feels genuine. Hes a bit like Dustin Kensrue and thats pretty high praise for us. Were definitely into the layered rock sounds here with some aggressive guitars propping up the stellar vocal. The Irish accent doesnt hurt not one bit. For accessibility enquiries & carer tickets, please read the accessibility document on the Hare & Hounds website. Athomkraft

Athomkraft

27 Sept 2026 - 30 Sept 2026

ATHOMKRAFT’s project was born out from the passion of two musicians - Alberto Pauletto and Sandro Martino - for the music of Pink Floyd. Both multi-instrumentalists, for about two years they have been working on a unique and ambitious project never proposed before: “Live At Pompeii and Atom Heart Mother” in electronic key. They gave a concert at Colours Hoxton in London on 24 February 2026 proving a huge success. The show's scenography is centered on synchronized video projections on Ledwall with an abstract visual slant. They are specially designed in order to make the show a visual and perceptive journey rich in emotional charge. The ATHOMKRAFT duet instruments, unlike most of the music around the world, are set on 432hz tuning. The reason for this choice is attributed to the band's intention to engage the audience in a more immersive way to the perception of the show by entering into vibrational resonance with it. This is where music becomes a key to our connection with earth, nature and our inner spiritual world. Presented by Citizen Live. This is an 18+ event
