Hever Castle and Gardens

Best known as the childhood home of Anne Boleyn, Hever Castle captures the unforgettable moments of romance, danger and intrigue that echo to this day within its walls. With a double moat and drawbridge, the 13th century castle has splendid panelled rooms containing fine furniture, tapestries and an important collection of Tudor portraits. Step into the glorious award winning gardens, with Rose, Italian and Tudor gardens as well as mazes, grottoes, water features and a boating lake. There’s an adventure playground with a tower maze, and children and adults alike love the miniature model houses.

Step into the colourful world of glass fusing with trained tutor, Jane Padgham. This relaxed and creative session offers the perfect introduction to working with glass. Taking inspiration from nature and the seasons, you’ll create at least two items such as a 10cm coaster, light catcher, garden stake, ornament or piece of bunting. Jane will be on hand to guide you as you bring your designs to life. No previous experience is necessary, and all materials will be provided. The workshop is suitable for ages 18+. Please wear suitable clothing and closed-toe shoes. Please note: your finished creations will need to be fired in Jane’s studio and will not be available to take home on the day. They’ll be ready to collect approximately 14 days later. Collection details can be arranged at the end of the session, or postage is available for a small additional fee.

Join Anne Bila for this relaxing hands-on aromatherapy workshop and be introduced to nature's very own pharmacy. Discover how you can benefit from the use of rose and floral essential oils for everyday health and wellbeing. Immerse yourself in 2.5-hours of interactive and practical learning. Enjoy being taken on a journey to explore organic essential oils, smell rose and floral oils, learn about oil safety, therapeutic benefits, blending guidelines, and how to use essential oils, then create your own unique personalised blend of essential oil, skin care ointment, massage oil, bath oil, hair wash or body wash. This aromatherapy workshop is open to everyone aged 13+ (13-17 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult) and no prior experience is required. All materials will be provided though you may wish to bring your own notebook and pen.

The childhood home of Anne Boleyn, Hever Castle is a stunning location for a sporting extravaganza with outstanding spectator access. Swimmers take off from the Loggia with its Nymph’s Fountain inspired by the Trevi Fountain in Rome. For the endurance athlete supporters, there's plenty of time to cheer on athletes along as you enjoy a refreshment at one of the many pubs along the cycle route and welcome returning runners wind their way past the castle and through its stunning grounds towards the iconic finish line. Throughout the weekend, athletes and spectators will be able to enjoy a fun-packed festival village featuring live music, shopping, food and drink, children’s entertainment, yoga and more. This page is for the the Sussex Prestige Ford Club to pre-book and pre-pay to display their vehicles at Hever Castle & Gardens on 16 May 2026. Each ticket includes access to the gardens only for one person. If you wish to upgrade to visit the Castle, a ticket can be purchased at the Castle entrance on the day. You should arrive at the entrance from 9:30am. Cars should be parked up by 10:30am ready for opening to visitors. A member of staff will direct you on the day where to park. Deadline Payment needs to be made by 15 May 2026. Your tickets Confirmation of your ticket and payment will be sent via email. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be resold, exchanged or transferred to another date.
