See Sailing Your Way. Learn to sail over a 6 week program running for 2 hours on a Saturday specifically designed to cater for people who are blind or partially sighted. An introduction to sailing dinghies for complete beginners, covering everything you need to know to get afloat and learn the ropes. In this internationally recognised sailing qualification you will learn how to sail in all directions in a larger dinghy for multiple people. 13:00 – 15:00 each day. Please bring old pumps or trainers that can get wet, spare change of clothes, swimwear and a towel. Learn to drive a powerboat over 4 Thursday evenings in May 2025. Running from 5pm-8pm on Thursday 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th of May 2025. An introduction to powerboating for complete beginners, covering everything you need to know to get afloat and learn the ropes. In this internationally recognised powerboating qualification you will learn all you need to know for self-sufficient powerboating at a basic level. Course includes launching, mooring, anchoring and recovery plus all the boat driving skills required for basic competence in a powerboat. 17:30 - 20:00 Thursday evening for 4 weeks. For Ages 16+.
