Adult Courses - RYA Powerboating Level 2
An introduction to powerboating for complete beginners, covering everything you need to know to get afloat and learn the ropes. In this 2 day weekend internationally recognised powerboating qualification you will learn all you need to know for self-sufficient powerboating at a basic level. Course includes launching, mooring, anchoring and recovery plus all the boat driving skills required for basic competence in a powerboat. 09:30 - 17:00 Saturday and Sunday. For Ages 16+. Learn to Windsurf in just two days! An introduction to windsurfing for complete beginners, covering everything you need to know to get afloat and learn the ropes. In this internationally recognised windsurfing qualification you will learn how to rig up your kit and move about freely on the water. 10:00 - 16:00 each day. For Ages 16+. Learn to Sail in just two days! An introduction to sailing dinghies for complete beginners, covering everything you need to know to get afloat and learn the ropes. In this internationally recognised sailing qualification you will learn how to sail in all directions in a small dinghy for one person. 10:00 - 16:00 each day. Stand Up Paddleboard - Adult Taster Session
Always fancied a go on a Stand up Paddleboard (SUP) but need a confidence boost to get started. Join one of our instructors for a one hour taster session. We will help you get on, stand up and show you some paddling techniques. Suitable for beginners. Participants must be 16 years and above. Wetsuits provided but bring old shoes that can get wet. Adult Single Sit On Top Kayak Hire

Adult Single Sit On Top Kayak Hire

Maximum of 1 adult per single sit on top kayak. Participants must be aged 18 years and above. Buoyancy aids must be worn at all times. You must remain on the sit on top kayak at all times. No food, drink, smoking or standing up permitted on the boats. No dogs. Management reserve the right to cancel the session at any time.
60 minute Giant Paddleboard Session for 8 people
Enjoy your celebration with a Giant Paddleboard Session for up to 8 people. This action packed 60 minutes is a great way to get out on the lake as a group with a qualified instructor. Ideal for children's birthday's , adult social's or family fun. Participants must be 8 years and above. Wetsuits provided. Please bring swimwear for under the westuit, towel and spare shoes you dont mind getting wet.

Date: Friday 5 June Start time: 10am Were heading back out for our nextBloom North walk, and wed love you to join us. This time, well explore the stunning routes around Blackstone Edge and Hollingworth Lake - a perfect mix of fresh air, relaxed conversation and great company. The route Well set off together and make our way up into Blackstone Edge, walking through beautiful open moorland before looping back via part of Hollingworth Lake. The walk is around 10km in total, with a couple of gentle inclines but no major hills. Well keep a steady, social pace, and we expect to finish within 2.5 hours, so youll be done comfortably by lunchtime. This one really is suitable for all, whether youre a regular walker or just fancy getting out for a bit of fresh air. Well behaved dogs are very welcome too Well meet at the start point where youll have access to toilets and coffee if you want to grab a drink before we head off. After the walk, well stop for post-walk drinks, kindly provided by the Immediate Media team - a great chance to catch up and wind down together. Well finish at The Wine Press, which serves excellent food and drinks if youd like to stay on: https://www.wine-press.co.uk/ Getting to the route By Train If youre travelling in, catch the 09.36 from Manchester Victoria to Littleborough, arriving at 09.57. Well meet you at the station and walk up together - its around a 15-minute walk to the main group. By car If youre driving, head to: Littleborough Visitor Centre Car Park, Hollingworth Lake, OL15 0AQ You can park there for the morning (paid parking), and well meet outside the Visitor Centre before setting off.
