7 Nov 2026 - 7 Nov 2026

Rediscover the golden years of the much loved and much missed true legend. Aladdinsane, The Sound & Vision of Bowie, widely acclaimed as the best Bowie tribute in the UK. They have played theatres, festivals and venues throughout the UK for the many years, with Paul Henderson performing as David Bowie, with audiences commenting how eerily close his voice, moves and mannerisms are to that as Bowie. Having played at some wonderful theatres and travelled to places like Bahrain, Qatar and Berlin where Paul played an acoustic set at Hansa studios where Bowie recorded Heroes, he said it's like an ongoing rollercoaster. With so many songs to choose from you can hear many hits like - Space Oddity. Changes, Ashes to Ashes, Heroes, Let's Dance, Drive In Saturday, Jean Genie, Life On Mars, Fame, Starman and Diamond Dogs to list but a few, including some classic album tracks from Bowie's vast repertoire. Paul changes outfits during each show which can stem from any of Bowies tours from 1976 to 2003.

The Bad Plus - Farewell Tour

4 Jul 2026 - 4 Jul 2026

The Bad Plus return for their final tour, marking the end of a 25-year career as one of the most influential and adventurous ensembles in modern jazz. Founded in 2000, the group has spent a quarter of a century pushing the boundaries of the genre. Founders Reid Anderson and Dave King have built a reputation for a fearless approach to composition, famously pairing original works with an unconventional array of covers. Their repertoire has reached far beyond the traditional jazz bubble, spanning everything from Ornette Coleman and Cole Porter to Black Sabbath, Aphex Twin, and Nirvana. This eclecticism was never about irony - instead, it served as a way to find new modes of expression, staying true to the dauntless spirit of the jazz tradition. Their 2003 breakthrough album, These Are Vistas, was named one of the 50 most important recordings of the decade by NPR’s All Songs Considered. Now on their 18th album, the band continues to produce music that is wild and unexpected. The 2026 Farewell Tour serves as a career-spanning celebration of the innovation and spirit that defined the group. These performances offer a final opportunity to experience a band that consistently refused to conform to convention. Presented by Howard Assembly Room. This is an 14+ event

The group’s first two albums, Nouvelle Vague (2004) and Bande A Part (2006) defined their unique sound with Bossa versions of New Wave Classics. Their third album NV3 (2009) featured collaborations with Depeche Mode's Martin Gore, Ian McCullouch from Echo and the Bunnymen, Terry Hall from The Specials, Barry Adamson, The Saints & Minimal Compact.

Margaret Glaspy

Margaret Glaspy

16 Oct 2026 - 28 Oct 2026

Emotions and Math is not simply the name of Margaret Glaspy’s new debut album. That expression drills right to the heart of the New York singer-songwriter’s proper introduction, a mission statement both artistic and personal. On its surface, the title track talks about being a touring musician and figuring out how to see your partner, looking at the calendar and calculating how you’re going to spend time together. But Emotions and Math, which ATO Records will release on 17 June, also sums up an epiphany she had while making the record. “In a lot of ways, it’s kind of how I operate,” says Glaspy. “I’ve always considered myself a free spirit, someone who goes with the flow, but actually I’m not exactly like that. This record really taught me that I’m super analytical and process-driven. I think they really do go together, emotions and math. Nobody is just one thing.” As introductions go, these twelve songs waste no time in cutting close to the bone. This is a young artist with something to say, one who has found her voice, as both singer and songwriter, after years venturing down a crooked path.
