The String Section are a toe-tappin' trio from Cambridge who blend violin, mandolin, guitar and vocals in a genuinely trans-Atlantic style. Regulars on the acoustic scene, their skill on their respective instruments is infectious. The trio play a lively mix of traditional, modern and self-penned fiddle tunes, folk, country, blues and Americana. They performed at the 2019 Cambridge Folk Festival, the 2021 Ely Folk Festival and have been featured on BBC radio, Cambridge 105 and Huntingdon Community Radio. On occasions the trio is joined by double bass player Dave Olney, so let's hope he's available for this session!

Kate Garner's vintage songbook Join Kate Garner, daughter of the legendary Chas Hodges of 'Chas & Dave' at the piano, as she sings the wonderful old songs that have defined her life, with tales of growing up in a musical London family, to her own successful career as a singer & songwriter. Kate's childhood was filled with music - songs her dad taught her, and songs his mum Daisy taught him. A great stride piano player, Nanna Daisy kept a songbook in which she would write all the songs that she played and this was passed on to Kate by her dad. This inspired Kate to keep a songbook of her own, Kate Garner's Vintage Songbook, an ever evolving treasure chest of old songs loved and learned since childhood. The Pocket Symphony Orchestra are a five piece indie band from Peterborough, formed by frontman Barry Walker and guitarist Darren Leeder in 2012. Jake Day, Adam Wildman and Kieran Eassom joined the band later on and they all feature amongst the band's four albums. The south-west based singer/songwriter Alex Hart has just released 'VISIONS' her most exciting and anticipated Album to date. At 18 Alex was noticed by producer Neil Stainton who honed her Talent, worked with her during her early career and co-wrote and recorded her debut album 'On This Day'. Following the success of Alex's debut album, her voice and musicianship caught the eye of legendary Jethro Tull guitarist Martin Barre, who asked Alex to be a part of his band as a musician and vocalist for their European and international tour dates.
