Logan Paul Murphy is already making a name for himself in the music industry. It all started when Murphy was spotted busking on the streets of Liverpool by the world famous Cavern Club management and asked to do a set on the famous stage where it all began for The Beatles. He is still the youngest ever person to do a full set in The Cavern to this day. Following this Logan has been invited to play at the prestigious International Beatleweek in Liverpool for the last four years running and is a firm audience favourite.

The Urban Folk Quartet are quite simply remarkable. This vibrant international folk band produce hearty fiddle led music that draws heavily from Celtic music and traditional song but embraces influence from funk grooves to middle eastern melodies, afrobeat to Indian rhythms. The band are all highly respected musicians in their own right, from Galician fiddler Paloma Trigas, fiery fiddler and showman Joe Broughton, masterful percussionist Tom Chapman, and the brilliant Dan Walsh on Banjo and guitar. Freddie Francis has been a second spot comic for thirty years touring the country on every variety bill going. We find him in 1956 recalling his life spent touring the halls; the ups, the downs, the riotous, the fantastic and the downright silly! He recalls his days entertaining the troops during the war, playing at the infamous Glasgow Empire, and we discover what really happened when a speciality act lost her snake on stage!! Ultimately Twice Nightly is a fading memory of the variety stage. The death of something that has been part of everyones life for decades is now on the decline. Where will Freddie go when he finishes this tour? Who will he go back to, and ultimately who really cares? Twice Nightly also includes routines from amongst others; Max Miller, Rob Wilton, Jimmy James and Norman Evans and renditions of many of the popular songs of the time, such as The Man who broke the bank at Monte Carlo, Happy days are here again and Goodnight Sweetheart.

FARA brings together four leading musicians at the forefront of today’s Scottish folk scene. Kristan Harvey, Jeana Leslie and Catriona Price’s three fiddles combine with Rory Matheson’s piano to produce a fiery sound rooted strongly in their upbringing among the music of Orkney and Assynt. With self-penned tunes as well as stunning vocals; and vibrant arrangements full of rich harmonies, energetic fiddle playing and driving piano, FARA’s audiences are in for an exciting show. Winners of the German Critics’ Choice Award 2017, nominees for a Radio 2 Horizon Folk Award and Scots Trad Music Award’s ‘Live Act of the Year’ amongst many other accolades; FARA is back on the road with new music, new stories and a brand new third studio album in 2022.
