The inaugural Liverpool Book Festival has been announced for 7th September 2025! The debut event is taking place at Invisible Wind Factory from 12pm and will feature over 40 authors, book signings, live music, street food, artisan stalls, guest speakers and special guests such as Billy Butler and Ramsey Campbell, with more to be announced. The exciting new book festival will feature some of the regions most talented and award winning authors and will showcase a wide range of books for sale including autobiographies, crime, thrillers, sci-fi, romance, comedy, historical, childrens books and more! Some of the authors include multi-award winning comedian Gary Skyner and punk legend Phil Jones. Phil will be performing live at the festival, as will some of the regions most talented artists such as Primal Live song contest winner Sam Leyden. There will also be Q&As with special guest speakers such as acclaimed multi-award winning novelist Ramsey Campbell, broadcasting legend Billy Butler and more to be announced. Meanwhile, therell be street food vendors and artisan products for sale. Liverpool Book Festival is being hosted by local magazine, marketing and PR company, La Vida Liverpool. The aim is to provide a platform for local authors connecting them with fellow authors, publishers and industry experts and a great opportunity to sell their books to enthusiasts. For avid readers, its a chance to meet the authors directly, ask them questions and get their purchased books signed in person.

Belters Only, made up of longtime friends Bissett and Robbie G, began as a weekly residency in a Dublin city club. Whilst clubs were closed during the pandemic, they decided to work together to create new music and develop Belters Only as a staple of the Irish electronic scene. After releasing a series of remixes and originals on SoundCloud, Belters Only released their debut single on Polydor, ‘Make Me Feel Good’, in collaboration with Jazzy, in November 2021. The track, three years in the making, went on to become an instant club smash, racking up over 86 million streams to date and reached the top 10 of the official UK Singles Chart. Since then, the duo has gone from strength to strength, releasing a string of singles in 2022 including hits such as ‘I Will Survive’, ‘Don’t Stop Just Yet’ and ‘Call Me’. This year, they’ve collaborated with Dundee duo KIMMIC on ‘Never Miss A Beat (Belters Only Remix), and Australian-born producer Sonny Fodera and British singer Ella Henderson on a remix of their track ‘Like I Used To’.
