Hundred watt club is proud to be one of the longest running burlesque revues in the UK...No two shows are the same, so expect the unexpected, and gear up for a good old fashioned, very grown up, bawdy & beautiful evening of variety entertainment. The lowdown: Not for the fainthearted, this show employs and embraces adult themes, strong language and partial nudity with gusto. No refunds if it's simply 'not to your taste'! Over 18s Only. Following their Transmission residency last summer, this is your chance to experience the premiere of Bending Reality, the latest production from Nua Dance. Our brains don’t just perceive reality — they reconstruct it. But what if what we see isn’t all there is? Blending dance, circus, and parkour, Bending Reality unravels shifting perspectives and hidden layers of perception. A sculptural dress reshapes the space, while Ben Glover’s video design captures the moments between what is seen and imagined. As with previous Nua Dance productions, this show prioritises accessibility for deaf audiences through creative captions, vibrotactile wearable devices, and a sound description.

Dr John Cooper Clarke: 75 Years of John Cooper Clarke
John Cooper Clarke shot to prominence in the 1970s as the original ‘people’s poet’. His unique poetry was put to music by producer Martin Hannett and a band of Mancunians The Invisible Girls. Seminal tracks such as Beasley St and Evidently Chickentown featured on the album Snap Crackle and Bop, one of 4 hit 70/80s album releases. JCC became one of the most prolific artists of the Punk years. His 1980s poetry collection 10 Years in An Open Necked Shirt featuring the lyrics to classic tracks from his albums and more, is one of the UKs biggest selling poetry collections of all time. Since then his career has spanned cultures, audiences, art forms and continents. Today he performs purely as a stand up solo poet. His unique poetry show has been touring worldwide for over 15 years. Dr John Cooper Clarke's 2019 autobiography, named after his most famous poem I Wanna Be Yours, (Macmillan), is a groundbreaking piece of literature. JCC goes into fascinating detail about his early life in Manchester leading up to punk superstardom, drug addiction and then the massive comeback as major poet he enjoys today.

What started as a personal search for happiness turned into a quest to find the Diggers of today. She didn’t expect to find them far from the battlefield, right on her doorstep. Blending storytelling and stand-up, past and present collide in this tale of high jinks and resistance. Directed by Mark Thomas, this celebrates the ordinary people still shaping history.
