Let’s Play The Piano has been bringing music lovers together since 2015, now running monthly sessions in nine UK cities. These events are a fantastic opportunity to connect with others who share a love of music, whether you’re a pianist or simply enjoy listening. All are welcome, from beginners to more experienced pianists. Playing is completely optional, and many people attend just to enjoy the atmosphere and great music. We perform on some of the finest grand pianos available in many wonderful venues. It's a great event if you're considering learning the piano and want to find out more! Our friendly, welcoming group is open to all ages and backgrounds – it's a fun, informal way to get involved in music and meet new people. If you have always wanted to join a choir locally, you can! Your local Newcastle-upon-Tyne choir is run by Tyne and Wear based musician Rob Slater. A local community choir first and foremost, we are also part of the national Rock Choir network, which provides some unequalled performances for choir members. Members of Rock Choir have had the chance to meet and sing in front of many celebrities and public figures, including HRH Prince William, Sir Trevor McDonald and Sir Richard Branson at the UK's top venues including Wembley Stadium! With no audition process, no need to read music and no pressure to sing live or perform until you're ready, Rob's expert tuition will guide you through our unique arrangements of your favourite pop, Motown and rock hits from Michael Jackson to Maroon 5 and every song in between! Whether you're joining to make new friends, find some time for yourself or even find the courage to sing on a stage, the fun and relaxed atmosphere at our rehearsals will really boost your spirits and leave you with a natural high!
