Kelso Racecourse, self-described as 'Britain's Friendliest Racecourse' and comprising a chase track and a hurdle course, hosts staging jumps racing from October to May. Built in 1822, Kelso also plays host to weddings, conferences and other larger-scale events. The track is most easily accessible by car, with a the nearest train station being Berwick-on-Tweed (22 miles away).
