Kensington Palace
A royal residence since the 17th century, Kensington Palace is currently the official London residence of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Previous royal residents included Princess Diana and Princess Margaret. The future Queen Victoria was also born and raised in Kensington Palace before her ascension to the throne. Visitors today can embark upon a historical guided tour of the gardens and visit the State Rooms. The palace is easily accessible via the Tube, with the closest stations being High Street Kensington, Queensway, Notting Hill Gate and Paddington.
