King Arthurs Labyrinth is an exciting attraction in Mid Wales which offers a unique experience to visitors. Young people of all ages find the caverns of the Labyrinth an exciting environment in which to discover Arthur.
The stories of King Arthur in Wales are based on traditional legends from original sources including the Mabinogion and the Tales of Taliesin. As in these source documents, the tales include both historical references and imagined or literary tradition.
The presentation explores the relationship between truth and legend in the Arthurian tradition and establishes Arthur as an authentic Celtic warrior of the Dark Ages celebrated in myth and imagination. It also incorporates other well-known legends from the area. Cultural and historical concepts have added impact in this dramatic setting and the presentation stimulates discussion of the place of myth and legend in our early Celtic history.
