Kishi Bashi - “10th Anniversary Sonderlust” Tour
Kishi Bashi marks the 10th anniversary of his acclaimed album ‘Sonderlust’ with a special live performance, bringing this deeply personal record to the stage in full. Written at a time of creative and personal reckoning, Sonderlust emerged from a period of searching. Stepping away from the intricate violin loops that had defined his earlier work, Kishi Bashi turned instead toward vintage synths, warmer textures, and a more open, vulnerable sound. The result is an album that feels both intimate and expansive - a meditation on love, desire, and what it means to connect. Revisiting the music a decade on has been, in his own words, ‘a surprisingly emotional experience.’ Listening back to the original demos, he rediscovered the strength of those first instincts - ‘a reminder to always bet the farm on my musical ideas.’ This anniversary performance offers a rare opportunity to experience Sonderlust in its entirety, reimagined for the stage - a chance to step back into that moment of transformation, and to hear the songs as works shaped by time. This event will last for approximately 115 minutes including an interval. Support act to be confirmed. Presented by Kings Place. This is a 14+ event

Steve Knightley

Steve Knightley

9 Jul 2026 - 6 Dec 2026

As a long-serving troubadour of the folk and acoustic music scene, master songwriter and storyteller Steve Knightley has spent much of his life on the road, collecting songs, stories, anecdotes and observations with the odd disaster along the way. Best known for his work with the award-winning acoustic roots group Show of Hands, Steve has performed in venues from the Albert Hole in Bristol to the Albert Hall in London. His impressive back catalogue of songs are modern classics, still filling the folk clubs and festival fields, and forever influencing the next generation of folk artists. Steve says, 'A life on the road certainly has its challenges, but I can't say I'd do it differently if I had to start all over again. The format of 'Songs and Stories', and now 'Roadworks' allows me to share the stories I've collected over the years, along with plenty of observations along the way. It's just me, a radio mic and a couple of guitars which is daunting and liberating in equal measures, and it's enabled me to build elements into my shows which I've never been able to before.'
