There can’t be many other bands in the UK with as fervent a fanbase as The Rifles. Over a decade after their formation, they can still play to thousands of fans all over the country. They have an impressive catalogue under their belt which includes 5 studio albums and a host of songs that have become institutional fan favourites, and it is these tracks that have been compiled to form the new compilation, 'Singles Collection'. Having said that, lead singer Andy's voice is about as close to Paul Heaton as you could hope for without it being the man himself (who has said the band are "very good") and with a highly skilled, and lively band they inject a huge amount of energy and soul into their shows.

The Real People, from Liverpool, England, were one of the very first bands to play what is today known as Britpop, and have been quoted by Oasis as being one of their major influences. They were formed in 1988 by brothers Christopher and Anthony Griffiths, the original line up consisted of Chris Griffiths (guitar and vocals), Tony Griffiths (bass and vocals), Dave Reilly (drums)(ex China Crisis), Jay Norton (keyboards)(ex Its Immaterial) and Gordon Morgan (guitar)(ex Black). Tony Elson (drums) replaced Dave Reilly (and he was replaced by Garry Ford) and Gordon Morgan was replaced by Sean Simpson (guitar) (later to be replaced by Alan Gillibrand and then by Ian 'Sitar'). The current line up is Tony & Chris Griffths (bass guitar vocals, guitar and vocals), Martin Lappin (guitar) and Tony McGuigan (drums).

Mercury Rev celebrates with a very special acoustic and intimate performance. An intimate, acoustic evening featuring many of the stories and songs surrounding the Mercury Rev's heart-breaking 1998 classic 'Deserter's Songs'. Performed in the fragile 'whisper and strum' way they were originally written, this promises to be an extraordinary glimpse into the forces that nearly destroyed a band and the strange events leading toward a most unexpected return.

Benefits are an issues-based music collective from Teesside in the North East of England. They write songs about the urgencies that concern them, and they play them loud. Forming in 2019 and consisting of Kingsley Hall on vocals, Robbie Major and Hugh Major on synths and noise, and Jonny Snowball on drums they quickly evolved from a fairly standard IDLES-lite shouty punk rock outfit to a politicised group that merges noise, hip hop, industrial rock, garage and an angry twitter feed to get it’s point across.
