The London Eye is Europe's largest observation wheel and the second-highest public viewing point in London, as well as the most popular paid tourist attraction in the UK. Featuring 32 sealed passenger capsules, each representing one of London's boroughs, each revolution takes approximately 30 minutes and allows for panoramic views over the capital city and its many landmarks. Originally owned by the Tussauds Group, the lead architects Marks Barfield and British Airways, ownership has changed hands many times since the attraction opened in 2000, and is currently owned by soft drinks manufacturer Coca-Cola.
