The List

Leicester Square Theatre

Leicester Square Theatre's history includes a late-70s Small Faces residency, appearances from the Rolling Stones and the Who, as well as being the venue where The Clash previewed their London Calling material. However, since re-opening in 2008, the venue has welcomes not just music, but also both big and small-name comedians -- presenting itself as one of the foremost comedy venues in the country. Its two spaces -- the main 400-seat venue and the more intimate 70-seat Lounge Theatre -- showcase comedy, cabaret, theatre and music. The theatre is two minutes' walk from Leicester Square tube station and ten minutes from Charing Cross mainline station. The nearest car parking is in the Q-Park in Chinatown -- there is no parking in Leicester Square.

Simon Evans: Have We Met?

Simon Evans: Have We Met?

26 Jan 2026 - 25 Nov 2026

Completing the Trilogy begun with Genius 2.0 and The Work of the Devil, Have We Met? finds Simon standing, like Ulysses in Tennyson’s famous verse, gazing out over the moaning deep and the twinkling rocks and wondering whether to seek a newer world? To smite the sounding furrows? To strive, to seek, and to find? Or whether in fact, to put the kettle on, crack open the Hobnobs and simply yield? Drawing on Joyce, Proust and the career of Philip Schofield to make sense of his own tangled past and possible future, Evans skilfully weaves comedy, pathos and narrowly averted cancellation into an unforgettable two hours of unique entertainment.

Alfie Moore: Acopalypse Now

29 Jan 2026 - 5 Nov 2026

The Four Horsemen of Rising Crime, Global Warming, AI and Culture Wars are galloping towards us. Are we on the road to hell? And can we avoid the potholes? In his brand new tour show 'Fair Cop' Alfie has the antidote to the breakdown of law and order, fake news and the price of baked beans. Somewhere in a parallel universe little Alfie’s natural comedic performance skills were recognised by his doting parents who encouraged and developed his blossoming talent. After several years as a stage school brat Alfie’s angelic face was launched on stage and screen and the rest is history. Meanwhile, in this universe Alfie Moore was told to stop messing about in class before being ‘encouraged’ into the grinding, grimy world of an apprenticeship in the Sheffield steelworks. When recession hit he traded steel for copper by joining Humberside Police. In his 40s the two universes collided when Alfie made a bid for showbiz success – but unfortunately 30 years of shift-work and being punched in the face quite a lot, had left him with ‘a face for radio’. A face not so much ‘lived in’ as inhabited by a settlement of squatters with little regard to property maintenance and repair.

Colin Stanley AKA Little Victorian Boy: Thoughts On Ghosts
COLIN STANLEY is best known for his viral sketch comedy videos under the pseudonym Little Victorian Boy. With hundreds of millions of views across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube, he’s carved out a unique corner of the internet and built a loyal following. But he’s more than just a pretty face chosen to lead his people through the end times by our algorithmic gods, he also has over a decade of live comedy experience and an engineering degree he no longer uses. In Thoughts on Ghosts, Colin performs a night of stand-up, characters, and stories all woven together in an absurdist little blanket for you to wrap yourself up in. The blanket is warm, the blanket is soft, the blanket smells like grandmother... sorry, this show isn't about blankets. If you're looking for a show about blankets, I'd suggest googling "Blanket Show" or some such phrase. This show is about ghosts, thoughts on them, as well as other things… enjoy.

This new tour show will resolve the entire issue once and for all (in a non-patriarchal, open minded, progressive sort of way). DaVinci’s Vitruvian Man is the image of the ideal male form. Batten & Moore

26 Jun 2026 - 27 Jun 2026

When THANYIA MOORE and CLARA BATTEN met on a trip to Nepal, they didn’t expect it to lead to a comedy partnership - mostly because they were too busy laughing, hiking, and wondering what on earth they were doing there. But somewhere between mountain air and misadventure, a friendship was born - and it’s funnier than either of them expected. Now, Thanyia and Clara bring their brand-new comedy show to the West End: a sharp, honest, and outrageously funny celebration of connection, contrast, and the kind of chemistry you just can’t fake.  It’s a joyful mix of stand-up, storytelling, and real-life ridiculousness. Expect tales that climb higher than the Himalayas, laughs that hit harder than jet lag, and two women proving that friendship really does bridge every divide.  Two voices. Two worlds. One unforgettable night of laughter, warmth, and chaos in perfect balance.
