A traditional Irish folk and ballad band, The Kilkennys are noted for their dynamic arrangements, energetic performances and charismatic rapport with audiences across the globe. Picking up the mantle left by acts such as The Dubliners and The Clancy Brothers, the group continue to conquer tour circuits in Europe and the U.S.A. In the past years The Kilkennys have shared the stage with renowned Irish artists such as Shane McGowan, Sharron Shannon and Finbar Furey. Continuing their hectic tour schedule 2016 saw the band perform on the main stage at Milwaukee Irish Fest - the largest Irish Festival in the world. The band was established between schoolmates and began touring the length and breadth of Ireland in 1998. In 2008 they decided to name themselves The Kilkennys' after their beloved home, Kilkenny City. Now based in South East Ireland, the group have evolved through the years and are anchored by founding members Davey Cashin (vocals, mandolin, banjo, guitar, whistles), Tommy Mackey (bass, acoustic guitar, vocals), and Mick Martin (bodhran, uilleann pipes, low whistles, guitar, vocals).

He was crowned Hot Water Comedy Club Comedian of the Year 2024 and won Best Breakthrough Act at the Lawrence Batley Theatre the same year. His relatable storytelling, cheeky delivery, and tales of financial struggles, drug culture, and the internet reflect the experiences of todays youth in modern-day England. Eddy has quickly become one of the most exciting new acts in the UK.

He also played the tie character in mockumentary Mike Bassett: England Manager. He has also started in the BBC series Nice Guy Eddie and Clocking Off aswell as the film Nativity with Martin Freeman and 51st state with Samuel L Jackson. Gary Óg Halloween 2025. Gary Óg Rebel Singer Gary Óg is a folk singer from Glasgow known for his powerful rebel songs and strong connection to Irish history and culture. He grew up in the Gorbals area, where he was surrounded by Irish music and working-class pride. In the 1990s, he became famous as the lead singer of the rebel band Éire Óg, especially after their hit album Live at the Brazen Head. He later launched a solo career, continuing to sing about Irish struggles, working-class life, and freedom. Gary has toured all over the world, including Europe, the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand. Some of his most well-known songs include James Connolly, Broad Black Brimmer, and Farewell to Bellaghy. His live shows are full of energy, passion, and emotion. Today, Gary Óg is still performing and releasing music, keeping the rebel folk tradition alive for new generations.
