The Red Telephone presents Logan Fisher & OBOST Live
The Red Telephone are proud to present Logan Fisher and OBOST Live at Margate Arts Club. OBOST Live kicks things off with his electro blends and rythmic beats. New on the scene and highly talented OBOST is the Electronic/ Indie Dance alias of Bobby Langfield. At 18 years old, Bobby is already an accomplished classically-trained musician, multi-instrumentalist and performer. OBOST was born from a lifetime of listening to electronica, techno and experimental artists too. A household where the likes of Weatherall, Paranoid London, Kraftwerk, Beastie Boys and Red Axes were frequent companions. His set will be followed by local DJs Zoe and DAMO who will increase the pressure, building your experience with a blend of EBM Italo Electro and anything that will make you dance in between. Zoe is a Margate based DJ and artist. With a love for underground 80's music. Her collection now features anything from Italo Disco to Proto Techno. Her sets embrace a range of genres, including EBM, Dark Waves, Acid vibes, New Beat, Dark Disco and synth pop. Originally hailing from South London, but now based in Margate, DAMO runs The Red Telephone club nights and co-hosts a radio show of the same name on Margate Radio. DAMOs sets can range from Leftfield electronic, Italo to Tech and everything else in-between to form an eclectic set. The night climaxes with Logan Fisher, party starter, scene setter and pioneering DJ. Logan has been playing at and curating club nights for over 2 decades. From the iconic Plastic People in London hosting legends of the progressive house sound (Darren Emerson, Paul Daley, Billy Nasty, Andrew Weatherall) he became one of the east London pioneers creating some of the first parties in the then overlooked part of London better known as Shoreditch. His latest venture, along with partner in crime Dave Gadsden, the absolutely bonkers covert warehouse parties Tryouts For The Human Race has set tongues wagging and already reached cult status, selling out within minutes every release. This is Logan's third visit to Margate for The Red Telephone, so if you've been to one of our nights before, you'll know what to expect! If you haven't had the chance to see Logan yet, it's well worth the trip. The night is set to be a scorcher, with the added bonus that now there's air con!
