Lead singer, John Wilkinson, delivers the Phil Collins vocal sound with power, passion and precision. On keyboards, the band benefits from the technical wizardry of Andy Keegan. Guitars are provided by Simon D'Vali, backed up with the rock solid technical playing of James Cooper on drums and Dave Jones on bass, 12 string guitar and bass pedals. When asked about the show, John Wilkinson said, "The idea of a Mama show is to celebrate the music of Genesis by having a Genesis party. We are huge Genesis fans, just like our audience. It’s great to meet so many likeminded Genesis fans as we tour the UK year after year. They know what they like!"

Making A Killing

17 Apr 2026 - 17 Apr 2026

The ropes are ready, the crowd is waiting, and the hangman has a new apprentice. When Claus Kohler is apprenticed to Frantz Schmidt, Nuremberg’s seasoned executioner, the two men are thrown together in a world where duty, morality, and power collide, and every decision leaves a mark. But as the gallows fill and suspicion takes root, their fates become dangerously entwined, until both must decide who they are, and which side of the rope they stand on. Performed by just two actors, Making a Killing is a razor-sharp, dark comedy about justice, corruption, and the cost of survival in a world disturbingly like our own. Bold, biting, and impossible to ignore, the play takes inspiration from The Journal of Master Frantz Schmidt, Public Executioner of Nuremberg, 1573–1617. A remarkable historical record that lays bare the humanity and contradictions of a man who killed for a living. By Ben Kernow. Inspired by the diary of Frantz Schmidt. Presented by Ha Hum Ah Productions in co-production with the Minack Theatre.

The Cold Buffet by Elijah Young

The Cold Buffet by Elijah Young

29 Apr 2026 - 2 May 2026

Directed by Wendie Middleton Presented by Middlesbrough Little Theatre Ltd. We’re very proud to be performing this play as it is written by ex-Middlesbrough Youth Theatre, MLT History Boy and now Smoggie Queens star, Elijah Young. “We're family. We don't have to like each other.” Things are never easy for Ellis when the family gets together. A dad who doesn't get him, a cousin who can do no wrong, a (not-so-passive) aggressive grandma, his dad's latest intolerable girlfriend and a grandpa in an urn are just some of the things Ellis has to contend with. When it begins to become tradition at these occasions for true feelings to be unearthed, is it finally time for Ellis to cut ties? Set in the back room of a social club, the play takes us through a wake, a wedding and a christening, and lifts the lid on the tensions behind every family ritual. Many things change over the years but something that will always remain is the same cold buffet. It's a delicious North East family saga laced with dry humour and a good dose of family tension.

The Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London Town
Written by Spike Milligan and Ronnie Barker Adapted by John Hewer Something is rotten in Old London Town... In Victorian England, a rotten, raspberry blower is claiming the lives of the upper-classes. The dark alleyways and moonlit graveyards of London are alive with the repetitive dins of the Phantom. Inspector Corner of the Yard and his faithful sidekick, Sergeant Bowles, are fed up with these din-dins. The case is afoot. Will the Phantom be uncloaked? All will be revealed... particularly if the Phantom uncloaks himself. Immortalised by The Two Ronnies, this Jack the Ripper parody is raspberry-jam-packed with Spike Milligan’s and Ronnie Barker’s love of surreal absurdism, clever puns, near-the-knuckle ribaldry, quick-fire jokes and famous wordplay. Celebrating the 50th anniversary since its original broadcast in 1976, this newly adapted stage play brings the Phantom back to life like never before. Presented by Hambledon Productions with the kind permission of Spike Milligan Productions Ltd and Handles for Forks Ltd.
