Breathe, Cook, Connect

Breathe, Cook, Connect

23 Apr 2026 - 1 Oct 2026

Explore mindfulness through the shared joy of food and connection. Join us for a unique and enriching experience where meditation meets the magic of the kitchen. In this weekly session, we’ll combine the grounding practice of mindfulness with the creativity of cooking and the joy of shared meals. Each session begins with a guided meditation and a short discussion centred on one of the attitudes of mindfulness, such as acceptance, letting go, or beginner’s mind. These reflections help us to arrive, settle, and prepare to meet ourselves—and one another—with compassion and curiosity. We then move into the heart of the session: preparing simple, nourishing meals together using seasonal ingredients from our Mindful Garden. Cooking becomes more than a task; it becomes a meditative, creative act—an opportunity to slow down, connect with our senses, and honour the journey from seed to plate. Finally, we sit and eat together in mindful community—an experience of true presence and reflection. We explore how tasting new foods, sharing stories, and eating slowly can transform a meal into a moment of connection and gratitude. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or a kitchen novice, this is a welcoming space to: Practise mindfulness through everyday activities Deepen your understanding of mindful attitudes Connect with nature, community, and yourself Enjoy delicious food made with care
Mindful Space

Mindful Space

22 Apr 2026 - 30 Sept 2026

Mindful Space is a weekly mindfulness and discussion group specifically designed for those living with mental health challenges. Whether you're new to mindfulness or returning to practice, this session offers a welcoming and compassionate environment to explore together. Each class includes a guided meditation, an open group discussion, and a short reflection on how mindfulness can support us in everyday life. Led by an experienced facilitator, we create space to share experiences, explore the attitudes of mindfulness, and consider how we can meet life’s difficulties with greater awareness and kindness. There’s always time for a cup of tea and connection—because being together in community is part of the practice. What to expect: - A calm, inclusive group space - Guided mindfulness meditation - Gentle discussion on the theory and real-life application of mindfulness - Space to share (or simply listen) without judgement - Tea, warmth, and human connection Who is it for? This session is for anyone experiencing mental health difficulties who would like to explore mindfulness in a supportive, understanding environment. You are welcome exactly as you are.
