A night of dark, cathartic music from RUENA and more bands TBA - a place for all metalcore fans to come together and feel empowered and united. Not only is this a line-up not to be missed, but all profits will be going to Metal For Good - a charity that makes positive change one riff at a time. This is the first night of Ruena's 'Tour De Ruena' in which she is travelling to all of the dates on this tour via bicycle to help raise more money for this incredible cause. So join us for one emotional, powerful and unforgettable night. RUENA: From guttural screams to soft, ethereal melodies, Ruena's vocals pack an impressive range. Her honest and raw story telling is weaved between nu-metal guitars and stomping bass lines to create a genre-blending sound. Known for her dynamic, engaging performances - each show is a cathartic release that will leave you feeling empowered. Stay tuned for full line up!

Guests/ Fish El Fish/ Hoodwinks

16 May 2026 - 16 May 2026

Guests Fish El Fish Hoodwinks Saturday 16th May @ The Mist Rolling Inn, NG1 5FD 8pm £10 advance / £12 doors / NOTAFLOF Guests Guests is the home recording project of Jessica Higgins and Matthew Walkerdine. Vaguely named as such to avoid any problems with the poster if they pull out of a gig (which has only happened once, to be fair) but also to capture a sense of reverse hospitality, like what happens when private worlds meet each other, making or having been made a space for. Their debut record, I wish I was special (World of Echo, 2024) was variously described as a collage of concrète experiments and outerzone pop gestures, music that sounds as if it's been written from the depths of a dream; music for people who love music but also hate it too. Their upcoming LP Common Domestic Bird (also released by World of Echo this April) continues in this vein, layering synthesiser, keyboards and samples over rudimentary drum rhythms and field recordings, which are in turn sung or spoken with to create nine new songs. https://by-guests.bandcamp.com/ Fish El Fish Fish El Fish is the new project of Syed Kamran Ali, formerly of Hunter Gracchus and Harappian Night Recordings. 2024 release Dog in Dracula Fangs is one of the most curiously delightful albums of the last couple of years: unsettling one minute, disarming the next and peppered throughout with a semi-intelligible mystical dialogue and drumbeats that could have been recorded through a mattress. Anybody who saw Hunter Gracchus live will remember how gleefully chaotic their performances could be while always being underpinned by what appeared to be a shared understanding and trust; I always understood them as celebrations of collaboration and communality. It is perhaps unsurprising then that Kamran will be joined by his former bandmate John Marshall for the performance. https://adhuman.bandcamp.com/album/dog-wearing-dracula-fangs HOODWINKS HOODWINKS is the Nottingham based duo of Drew M Jadowski and Peter J Woods. They make dynamic harsh noise for weird and normal people. Recent albums have been released by Venalism and Outsider Art. https://Hoodwinks.bandcamp.com

Triple Negative Je hais ... d'une haine primitive, féroce - Brigitte Fontaine Return of the living dirt! It's not good for you just because it hurts Refining symptoms since 2017 Concussion & vices trading as percussion & voices Our cheap hearts are sheeny shells Our fouled hearts are sorry cells Our sold hearts don't show or tell - Whose cheap heart hurts Our facial tissue is all tissue paper Our jawlines are splinters where glass used to be (mp3 conversion) Tropique of concrete / or Hands gone wrong / or Stab central L are probably the most magnetic, outrageous, crazed, dadaist, inventive group in Glasgow. and My Sister's Baby was L's third release following "Marilyn Monroe - All of Us" on Radical Documents. The tape was born by immaculate conception: GLARC released this tape without listening to it. Eoin Anderson reviewed it without listening to it. L wrote and recorded their parts individually and assembled it - without listening to it. It was mixed, mastered and messed up by eyeball and sent to tapeline - without anyone listening to it. On the 24th of October 2025- underneath the M8 - L listened and played it - for the first time. Named as one of the best cassettes of 2025 by The Quietus, they described it as "wild and chaotic, yet whether through kismet, fluke or clairvoyance it never sounds disjointed". Seasoned from a recent European tour, they will bring joy and chaos. 'Hannah Bannanah has been yet again taken over spirit-in-bone by the reincarnated American trucker heartthrob who wants so badly to sing you his songs, and will do so through her body, whatever it costs him, her, and us.'
