Crash Of Rhinos

Crash Of Rhinos

1 Aug 2026 - 1 Aug 2026

Crash of Rhinos return to the stage with their first album in 13 years: Logbook. Self-produced and recorded in an empty library and a remote Cumbrian barn, the album has taken the band years to shape after they quietly reformed four years ago. Crash of Rhinos broke up in 2014, shortly after releasing their second album Knots. Their first album, Distal, turned 10 in 2021 and the band got together in Derbyshire to run through the tunes to see if the chemistry was there for some possible anniversary shows. They had a great time. So good that they scrapped the anniversary show idea and started writing new songs. Their lives are very different than before. Their perspectives have widened and matured. Their appreciation of each other has deepened. And they sound more mellow and yet more intense at the same time. Presented by Diminishing Returns. This is an 18+ event.

Carlow’s bi-lingual, mutli-instrumentalist maverick SexyTadhg announces their 14-date, community binding, culturally defining ‘SLUTTRAD’ UK & IRE Tour for October / November / December 2026. In tandem with the release of their genre blurring “TADHG” EP which demonstrates a unique vision of Traditional Irish music, that is intrinsically entwined with queer culture, resulting in total redefinition of the modern Irish identity. The SexyTadhg live show has been described as a “euphoric blend of big band jazz, theatrical soul, and dazzling pop, bursting with brass, keys, layered harmonies, and a groove-rich rhythm section, that channels the grandiosity of the SexyTadhg personna, while showcasing their magnetic, commanding vocal presence.” (1883 Magazine), with Hotpress remarking that the live show is “theatrical disco music at its finest, Tadhg's performances are an exhilarating blend of musicianship and creativity.” Tadhg's commanding vocals and virtuoso piano skills have mesmerized audiences internationally, as their big band extravaganza elevates Irish musicianship to unprecedented heights. Their performances often draw comparisons to legendary icons like David Bowie, Elton John, Lady Gaga, and Freddie Mercury, yet SexyTadhg artfully intertwines this majestic persona with the uplifting joy of Traditional Irish folk and intimate narratives that explore themes of gender, sexuality, and mental health. Kacy & Clayton

Kacy & Clayton

15 Oct 2026 - 18 Oct 2026

We were raised on cattle ranches where we learned how to play traditional country music because that's what everyone wanted to hear. The music Kacy and Clayton make is inextricable from where they grew up. They sing about the kind of people you'd find in Wood Mountain, Saskatchewan (population very few). The hills, barns and remoteness of the area are in these songs, with a bittersweet acknowledgement that this music has taken them far from home. Kacy Anderson and Clayton Linthicum's new album Carrying On follows the international acclaim for their previous records Strange Country (which Q magazine called, A beautiful album that nudges a classic past into a brave future.) and 2017's The Siren's Song described by Uncut as Ageless and beguiling. A classic record for this or any other time. Their sound is equal parts homespun, coming from a family and community where playing music is an ever present part of social gatherings, and the rare country, blues and English folk rock these second cousins obsess over and collect. For Carrying On, Clayton cites as influences: Bobbie Gentry's The Delta Sweete, Hoyt Axton's My Griffin Is Gone, Cajun fiddle music, and the steel guitar of Ralph Mooney who played on many of the records that defined the Bakersfield country music scene of the 1950s. Sixties psych has also woven its way into these new songs; Kacy enjoys telling people that they live 250km from the mental hospital that coined the term 'psychedelic'. Having toured almost nonstop for the last two years, Carrying On was conceived and honed on the road and recorded immediately after a jaunt across Western Canada, mostly as live takes with the minimum of overdubs the songs having been tried and tested before audiences each night. The album was produced once again by Jeff Tweedy of Wilco and Uncle Tupelo fame, at his Loft studio in Chicago. The result is a sharpening of what Mojo magazine summed up as A beautiful mix of Kacy's crystalline vocals and Clayton's inventive, deep-groove country guitar. And a greater attention to detail in their songwriting; with narrative tales of loss, regret and yearning alongside vivid portraits of the Northern Great Plains and its isolated inhabitants. The songs The Forty-Ninth Parallel, The South Saskatchewan River, Providence Place and That Sweet Orchestra Sound were all written with local settings in mind - with the latter a tribute to the rural dance bands of the area, who referred to themselves as 'orchestras.' One such band, the Romansky Orchestra from Fir Mountain featured Kacy's Grandpa Carl in their line-up when he was in his teens. Of Carrying On, Jeff Tweedy said "When I first heard Kacy and Clayton, I was struck by how much detail and nuance they had absorbed from what sounded like a large swath of my record collection. When I told them that they were as good as the artists they were drawing from, I'm not sure they believed me. On this record I don't hear those influences as much as I hear them taking the things they love so intimately and telling their own story. I think they're a truly great band. Our songs for this album are inspired by rural living of the past and present, highlighting the toll that urban dwelling can take on first generation kids moving out of the country into the city.

Maya Ongaku

Maya Ongaku

9 Sept 2026 - 11 Sept 2026

Hailing from the seaside communities surrounding Enoshima, a small island located 50 km southwest of Tokyo, maya ongaku is a ragtag collective of local musicians whose brand of earthy psychedelia transcends widely beyond the roots of their inner souls. The name derives not from any kind of ancient civilization, but rather a neologism defined as the imagined view outside one’s field of vision. The band-currently a trio of Tsutomu Sonoda, Ryota Takano, and Shoei Ikeda-finds sanctuary at the Ace General Store, a beachy vintage shop and salon-like space just hidden from sight from the bustling, touristy riverside Subana Street. Between discussions on music and art, curating the vinyl section and manning the register, and chatting up with locals young and old, the members find time to jam and record their spontaneous ideas in the studio tucked away in the back. It’s in this unlikely setting where maya ongaku finds its origins, the culmination of what Sonoda describes as 自然発生 (shizen hassei), meaning spontaneous generation, or the supposed production of living organisms from nonliving matter.

29 Jul 2026 - 29 Nov 2026

What is the best orange thing in the world? Aperol spritz? Sunsets? Claudia Winkleman? You probably never stopped to think about what your favourite orange thing was, but you're damn sure thinking about it now. Maybe it's marmalade, or maybe it's Garfield, or maybe it's the album ‘Channel Orange' by Frank Ocean. There's just so many to consider. And no one on earth has considered more of them than Ivo Graham.   Ivo Graham has always been a fan of orange things. Baked beans. Sriracha mayo. The Tiger Who Came To Tea. But in 2025, a series of emotional days in his favourite colour prompted Ivo to commit harder than ever to the bit: colour-coordinating his life for his daughter, for his mother, for his football team, and, he desperately hopes, for your entertainment. Come and help this orange lunatic make his orange list, in a show about hats, haters, hometown heroes, and whether Hare Krishnas are better than Hobnobs.
Pearl & The Oysters

Pearl & The Oysters

21 Nov 2026 - 22 Nov 2026

Pearl & The Oysters, the duo of Juliette Pearl Davis (Juju) and Joachim Polack (Jojo), formed a decade ago in Paris, where they lived until they were young adults. Together, they make music a lot like their current base of Los Angeles: sunny on the surface, darker and more layered at its roots. Their fizzy, squiggly lounge pop - now leaning toward '70s piano rock as well as Brazilian, exotica and city pop influences - asks how to live with uncertainty and disquiet. In January 2025, as Trump's second inauguration loomed and wildfires raged through LA. Juju stayed up all night crying. The next morning, she woke to find that Jojo had written a song for her, "Wide Awake," a calm offering in the midst of panic. From that moment, the process of creating Monkey Mind began. Pearl & The Oysters' new album Monkey Mind takes its title from the Buddhist concept of a restless, looping consciousness: thoughts jumping, spiraling and rarely settling. Produced by Jonathan Rado (Weyes Blood, The Lemon Twigs, Father John Misty), the record follows that cycle across the span of a day, beginning in a state of calm before the mind wakes up, gathers speed, and eventually softens again. Presented by Love Thy Neighbour. This is an 18+ event
Leif Vollebekk

Leif Vollebekk

2 Jul 2026 - 2 Jul 2026

Some artists go on feeling like secrets long after they've started being told. Leif Vollebekk, who released his third album in February is one of these treasures. Born in Ottawa in 1985, he taught himself music using instruments inherited from his grandfather: harmonica, guitar, piano, an old fiddle. Vollebekk's latest, long overdue LP, Twin Solitude, is the product of everything that came before: the unending tours, the slow cover songs, the experience of seeing Prince, alone at a piano. 'I used to think, This will be kinda like a Neil Young song, This will be kinda like a Bob Dylan song,' Vollebekk says. 'I kinda ran out of people to imitate. And then there was just me.'
Lydia Lunch & Marc Hurtado play Suicide and Alan Vega
Lydia Lunch has crossed paths with Alan Vega and Martin Rev of Suicide upon arrival in New York at age 16, late 70 SUICIDE The first show of which she attended was a real shock, a revelation on a new form of a concert, a total show, theatrical, free, violent. Since then, a close relationship, as much artistic than friendly, united them, Lydia Lunch performed on stage and on a record "Frankie Teardrop" by Suicide and she sang a duet with Alan Vega in the album SNIPER by Alan Vega and Marc Hurtado in 2010. Marc Hurtado, had already met Alan Vega and Lydia Lunch on his Etant Donnés ‘s RE-UP album Be in 1999 and he formed the project My Lover The Killer in 2013 with Lydia Lunch, with whom they recorded an album and play on stage. Since 2014 Lydia Lunch and Marc Hurtado join forces for this event around Suicide and Alan Vega songs, it will be a kind of sonic "Blitzkrieg" and a visual shamanic ceremony, where both artists will burn their souls in the volcanic heart of the music of Suicide and Alan Vega. Lydia Lunch is a nomadic gypsy in eternal metamorphosis that almost lost her life for her art dozens of times in 35 years. Musician, writer, photographer and performance artist, she appeared in the New York music scene in 1977 with the project founder No Wave, Teenage Jesus and the Jerks. In search of inspiration and cooperation she worked with Karen Finley, Hubert Selby Jr, Nick Cave, William Burroughs or Virginie Despentes, she lived in New York, Brooklyn, New Orleans, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, Los Angeles, London. She has visited 656 cities to perform on stage for concerts, spoken word, installations in clubs, theaters and museums. Marc Hurtado is a musician, performer, poet, painter, producer and filmmaker who co-founded the French duo ETANT DONNES with his brother Eric in 1977. He has made more than 20 albums and concerts around the world.

Parviz

Parviz

17 Nov 2026 - 28 Nov 2026

Parviz’s self-titled debut album is slated for release in 2026: infused with psych, funk and classic sounds from the Persian world, it evokes the spirit of Iran’s 70’s music scene while adding a contemporary touch. At times buoyant, variegated and contemplative, it’s like an old taping of Iran’s beloved show Rangarang brought back to life. Flowing detuned synths and DIY aesthetics give it this indie je-ne-sais-quoi; it’s candid, nostalgic, dreamy and fierce, both rooted in Persian culture and distinctly modern. Lead single “Azadeh” - a female given name meaning “free-spirited” - pays homage to the “Woman Life Freedom” movement, with artwork by Rana Fadavi emphasising its urgency. Follow-up “Sappho’s Fragments” aired on BBC Radio 6 and has totalled more than 300k streams in its first 6 months after release. Parviz’s music aired on BBC Radio 1, Radio 6, FIP, and has been found on playlists from Facemelts, A1234 and many more. Parviz will be touring in the UK in February & March 2026 for his “Khorshid Khanoom” tour.
Saint Avangeline

Saint Avangeline

19 Sept 2026 - 19 Sept 2026

For Saint Avangeline, making music is a conduit for self-salvation-a divine catharsis she refers to as “sucking the poison out of my soul.” As shown on her spellbinding viral hit ‘Lilith’, the 23-year-old artist brings a lavish originality to that process of transmutation, endlessly channeling her most unbearable feelings into songs steeped in a raw ethereal beauty. In the latest manifestation of her extravagant vision, Saint Avangeline now shares a selection of songs that drift from ethereal dream-pop to dark wave to a wildly enchanted genre all her own-ultimately charting a path from painful delusion to the sublime awakening of true love. ‘Limerence’, the first offering from Saint Avangeline’s new collection of singles, emerged from a stream-of-consciousness writing session, then evolved into an otherworldly but ominous portrait of anguished infatuation. “When I wrote ‘Limerence’ it was meant to be a love song, because I’d never written one before but after I broke up with my partner and listened back, I realized it was a cry for help. The lyrics came to me when I was in an abusive relationship, and it was like my subconscious was writing something that I couldn’t yet understand.” Another song sparked from that relationship, ‘Carolina Creature’, unfolds in a dreamlike haze as the artist reflects on a complicated memory from their early days together. “On our first date we went to a lake and had such a lovely day. I remember them spinning me around in the water and feeling so happy and warm. ‘Carolina Creature’ is about looking back on that day, but from a place of realising how they turned out to be a completely different person than I thought they were.” Finally, on ‘Rain Dance’ Saint Avangeline brings her mesmerizing vocals to a melancholy reverie, layering the track with luminous melodies and hypnotically gauzy guitar tones. “‘Rain Dance’ is my actual first love song”, noting that she visualized the track in lush and vivid greens. “It’s about me and my current partner finding each other and connecting, and healing each other’s inner child. I love how this collection of songs starts in a dark place of false love, and then ends with the sweetness and innocence of feeling such a pure love for another person.” Also including a gorgeously brooding cover of Type O Negative’s goth-metal classic ‘Love You to Death’ Saint Avangeline’s latest output marks a dazzling addition to a body of work that encompasses her 2022 debut album ‘Gardener of Eden’ and her 2024 sophomore LP ‘Inferno’ along with a series of standalone singles. As she looks back on her work to date, Saint Avangeline speaks to the singular joy she’s discovered in communing with those who find solace in her music. “Sometimes queer women will reach out and tell me how it feels good that there’s someone creating my style of music but talking about the lesbian experience. I also hear from people who’ve gone through abuse or assault, and who tell me I expressed something that they couldn’t put into words on their own. At the end of the day, I wrote all of these songs to save myself-so the idea that they could end up helping someone else really means so much to me" Presented by CLUB.THE.MAMMOTH.
