James Campbell’s Comedy 4 Kids: Reducks
Please be aware that the show on feb 28 will be filmed, this may include audience shots.  James invented the idea of proper stand-up for children in 2001. Since then he has been travelling the world, bringing high-quality laughter to children in thousands of schools, libraries, theatres, festivals anywhere that will have him really.  For the last ten years he has mainly been concentrating on writing funny books and parenting his own children. But now he is bored of all that and returns to the world of festivals to reboot comedy for kids with a face full of wrinkles and a reconstructed show that may include exploding penguins; seventeen ways to eat jam; and songs to sing to the worms in your dog’s bottom.  This show is twice as funny as anything you’ve seen before so cover yourself in glue, roll around in glitter for five minutes and then come to the show shouting, “I’m a massive disco maggot!” until someone asks you to leave.  ★★★★★ "A HIT NOT TO BE MISSED” - Three Weeks  ★★★★★ “I SHOULD HAVE GIVEN HIM SIX STARS – JUST TOO BRILLIANT“ – The Sunday Herald   "THERE WERE CHILDREN LAUGHING SO HARD THEY WERE STRUGGLING TO SIT UP STRAIGHT" - One4Review  "HAS ACHIEVED ALMOST HOLY STATUS - DON'T MISS" - The Sunday Times
Gary Faulds: Panic at the Midlife Disco
Join Gary Faulds, the Glaswegian comedian who’s survived every type of life crisis imaginable, in Panic At The Midlife Disco. With his kids getting older and the looming reality of mortality getting closer, Gary’s having a hilarious meltdown – and you’re invited to the party. From desperate attempts to stay “cool” with his kids to grappling with his rapidly growing waistline and crumbling youth, Gary’s journey through midlife is anything but graceful.  Expect gut busting stories, sharp wit and a brutally honest look at the chaos of growing up, getting old and trying to keep it together while everything falls apart. It’s a comedy show that proves the only thing more awkward than a midlife crisis is trying to laugh about it.

Pete Murphy - People: Great Idea Poorly Executed
Humanity. A bold experiment, a grand design, the so-called pinnacle of creation. On paper, flawless. In reality? A bin fire with opposable thumbs. Enter the Pirate King—ex-wrestler, biker, and Glaswegian antihero with a god-sized chip on his shoulder and a broken Pint glass of cynicism sharpened for the occasion.  This is not polite comedy. This is a full-scale audit of the human race—our stupidity, our vanities, our desperate need to invent things like TikTok and gender reveal parties. At the same time, we can’t even recycle properly. Gallows humour, filthy truths, blasphemous jabs, and the occasional philosophical gut punch—it’s all here, delivered with the dry, cutting voice of a man who’s seen too much and doesn’t give a toss about sparing your feelings.  People: great idea, poorly executed. Come witness the mess we’ve made of ourselves, bathe in the stupidity of your own species.

Richard Ashcroft Revived My Libido WIP
2020\. Mel Hudson (Knowing Me Knowing You With Alan Partridge, The Catherine Tate Show, Hudson and Pepperdine) enters the long tunnel of lockdown as she looks likely to go to her grave - a single, celibate and dangerously contented cat lady. She’s split from the father of her grown-up children, and somehow raw dogged menopause without the endless tweaking of hormones her still-coupled friends endure to keep themselves raunchy and remotely sane. But then - three things happen: lockdown ends, the cat dies, and Mel attends a momentously revitalising musical event just metres from her ‘Forever Home for One’ - at Crystal Palace Park Bowl. A site, unbeknownst to her, of magical healing powers. Suddenly, men are not so paused. Richard Ashcroft Revived My Libido tells the inspirational story of the sexual reawakening that follows. This rambunctious show is at once a rousing rallying call to the sensuality and zest for life of the older woman, and a heartfelt Urban Hymn to the writer of “Lucky Man”. Part memoir, part blatant attempt to get Richard’s attention in some way, RARML is a must-see for all late-middle-aged women, and anyone with any interest in them. CW: contains descriptions of Post Menopausal Motorway Refusal. ‘MEL HUDSON IS A MASTER OF COMEDY. DO NOT MISS THIS JEWEL!’ ‘SO GLORIOUSLY REDEMPTIVE - IT’S LIKE BEING SHOWERED IN CHAMPAGNE!’  - Audience reviews, MOC 18.12.25 ‘MAKES MILF MANOR LOOK LIKE QI’ - Graham Norton
Ali Brice: This Is The Way We Brush Our Teeth
I like smiling. But only when I'm unaware of it. If you know you're smiling, you're doing it wrong. Unless you're looking at a camera. Or a dentist. I hope this show makes you smile without realising it. That would make me smile. It'll be chaotic, heartfelt and silly.   'COMIC GENIUS' ★★★★ - Skinny  'ALI BRICE IS FUNNY' ★★★★ - List   'THE MOST ENTERTAINING EXPERIENCE I ENJOYED AT THE FRINGE' - EdFringeReview.com  'A SHOW LIKE NO OTHER' - Chortle.co.uk 'A CLEVER, OFF-BEAT TALENT WITH A PENCHANT FOR RISK-TAKING ON STAGE' - BeyondTheJoke.co.uk
Rosie Holt: The Illegal Aliens Have Landed! WIP
Rosie Holt and her MP alter ego are back, this time fighting their biggest foe yet. Labour are trying to continue the Conservatives work of stopping the boats, while also still appearing “left wing," but they have an even bigger problem when UFOS arrive. Will the government stand strong and protect the British people? Or will they insist they are “just waiting for the facts” as Aliens start to abduct and eat the British public?

The Cabaret Room

The Cabaret Room

1 May 2026 - 1 May 2026

A riotous collision of spectacle, satire and the unexpected, this 90-minute post-variety cabaret explodes the boundaries of traditional entertainment. Blending live art, comedy, music, movement and the gloriously unclassifiable, the show unfolds as a fast-moving sequence of daring acts that are by turns hilarious, provocative and breath-taking. A distillation of years of baffling takes on traditional variety and cabaret at Hoxton Hall, we bring this Phantasmagorical entertainment to central London.  The ‘sexy’ collides with the ‘critical’, absurdities mutate into social experiments, and moments of stillness bloom amid bursts of anarchic energy. This is variety turned inside-out — playful, self-aware and joyfully strange. Some acts flirt with failure, others push their craft to the edge, but all share a spirit of risk and invention. The performers invite you not just to watch, but to lean in, question, laugh and occasionally hold your breath. Part cabaret, part laboratory, part glorious mess: a dazzling parade of bold ideas, mischievous performers and beautifully unpredictable moments. For 90 minutes the stage becomes a playground for the weird, the wonderful and the wildly entertaining.

Run.  “FANTASIA OF FEMINISM”★★★★, The Guardian  “BARNSTORMING” ★★★★, Telegraph
