About the Books The Abersoch Killings by Simon McCleave Keep your enemies close and your family closer At his beachside mansion, with his large family and beautiful wife, Jack Rush celebrated his step-daughters wedding: an extravagant, happy day. But that night, the movie producer is found in a pool of blood having snorted cyanide instead of cocaine. With security tight, DI Ruth Hunter and DS Nick Evans are looking for a suspect among the guests. Jacks wife knew of his many infidelities; his twin sons resented his control; and Charlie, the new son-in-law, was furious about the prenup. They all had motive and opportunity but who switched the drugs and killed the domineering bully? Quiet Bones by Sarah Ward When the body of a baby is found wrapped in a swans wing deep in the woods, archaeology professor and expert consultant Carla James is brought in to assist on the case. The unusual burial must signify something, but what exactly is unclear. Meanwhile, a student from Jericho College has gone missing. Police say she left of her own accord, but this doesnt seem right to Carla. The young woman didnt tell anyone she was leaving. No one has heard from her since. And shes not the first student to disappear. As Carla delves further into both cases, she finds a rotten history beneath both the colleges and the towns facade, perpetuated by lies and cover-ups. How deep does the corruption go? The Blood We Share by Morgan Greene Jacob Taylor is driving home from a roadside bar and sees a young woman walking barefoot, covered in blood. Desperate, she asks if she can stay with him just for one night. Next morning, local sheriffs burst in, search the place and arrest him, finding blood and DNA all over the place. Shes missing, presumed kidnapped, with two dead in her wake. The following night, two cops enter his cell with a mind to kill him and stage it as suicide. He manages to fight them off and escape, determined to clear his name and discover the dark truth hiding in his seemingly peaceful town.

Its hard to be a diamond in a rhinestone world Becky Mooney is a Scottish Dolly Parton tribute singer with such terrible stage-fright she can only perform when dressed up as country musics biggest, blondest star. But after splitting with her boyfriend (and Kenny Rogers singing partner) Becky decides to take inspiration from Dolly to go it alone and try to shine like a diamond in a rhinestone world. As she searches for a way forward, a surprise encounter with a handsome country music star propels Becky to find her own unique voice and along a path to romance, revenge and the rockabilly road to Nashville. But will she find the route to who she really is? This sparkling rom-com from the author of SHAKE IT UP, BEVERLEY and ROCK 'N' ROSE, is not just a love song to Dolly Parton but a wake-up call for anyone who thinks theyve missed their chance or could do with that extra bit of extra rhinestone sparkle in our lives.
