The Rory Gallagher Festival UK (Nantwich) is excited to return with its 2024 programme offering live music from Friday 23rd August to Sunday 25th August. Lucy Spraggan is a British singer-songwriter known for her unique blend of acoustic pop, folk, and witty lyricism. She first gained widespread attention during her appearance on The X Factor in 2012, where her original song "Last Night (Beer Fear)" captured the hearts of viewers. Although she left the competition early, her performance on the show catapulted her into the spotlight, and her debut album Top Room at the Zoo soon followed, reaching high on the UK charts. Her subsequent albums, including Join the Club (2013) and Choices (2021), further showcased her knack for storytelling, tackling themes of love, life, and personal growth. The Oxted Sessions is delighted to welcome legendary 70s folk-rock pioneers Lindisfarne. With a classic five-piece line-up of long-time members, fronted by founder-member Rod Clements on vocals, mandolin, fiddle and slide guitar. The band, formed in 1993, had an impressive run of hit singles throughout the late 90's/early 00's, including ’Bluetonic’, ‘Slight Return’, ‘Marblehead Johnson’, ‘Solomon Bites The Worm’, ‘If’ and ‘Keep the Fires Burning’. They scored thirteen Top 40 singles and three Top 10 albums in the UK charts before splitting up in 2011. Join frontman Mark Morriss alongside band mate Adam Devlin as they "Cut Some Rug" on stage together at this very intimate show.

It all started just five years ago when aged only 13 Logan was spotted busking on the streets of Liverpool by the world famous Cavern Club management and asked to do a set on the famous stage where it all began for The Beatles. He is still the youngest ever person to do a full set in The Cavern to this day. Following this Logan has been invited to play at the prestigious International Beatleweek in Liverpool for the last four years running and is a firm audience favourite.
