The Scottish National Gallery houses the Scottish National Collection of fine art from the early Renaissance to the end of the nineteenth century, including works by Titian, Raphael, Rembrandt, Raeburn, Monet and Van Gogh. Gallery Social (dementia-friendly): Myths of ancient worlds
Join us at National Galleries Scotland: National and immerse yourself in the world of ancient myths. Discover the stories of goddesses like Venus and Diana, as well as the legendary Achilles, and explore how they’ve been brought to life in art. This session will be a relaxed and informal guided tour with refreshments for anyone affected by dementia and their relatives, friends and supporters. Led by our team of friendly artists, it’s a chance to socialise, talk about artworks and enjoy art activities together. Places are free, but limited so please book online.
