However, he also possesses an enviable back catalogue as a solo artist and continues to work on new material under the guise of his latest band, John Bramwell & The Full Harmonic Convergence. Bramwell’s first studio output appeared in 1989, when he was performing and recording as Johnny Dangerously and entitled You Me & The Alarm Clock, an album The Guardian referred to as one of the ‘greatest albums you’ve never heard.’ Following a stint as a television presenter and as a member of the band, The Mouth, Bramwell formed I Am Kloot, with two members of The Mouth. They went on to record six studio albums, including the Mercury-Prize nominated album, Sky At Night. Since 2016, Bramwell has reverted to being a solo artist and tours continuously, around the UK and Europe. A home-recorded solo album, Leave Alone the Empty Spaces appeared in 2018 and the follow-up, a more expansive affair, with a working title of The Light Fantastic, is now scheduled for release in 2022.

The Backseat Lovers

The Backseat Lovers is a young indie rock band from Heber City and Sandy, UT. The band started when Josh, having heard of local drummer Juice Welch, introduced himself and asked if he wanted to start a band. They immediately started working on arrangements for some of Josh's songs. Later Josh met lead guitarist and vocalist Jonas Swanson while waiting in line for an open mic at the Velour in Provo city. Neither of them got on the list to play that night, so they sat on a park bench outside the venue and played their songs to each other until they ran out of stuff to play. Josh invited Jonas to come down and play with him and Juice. It was that night that Out of Tune, a song Josh had been holding onto since he was 16, came to life when they arranged it as a group.
In spring of 2018 the band began recording together. They released their self produced EP Elevator Days on June 3, 2018 and played their first show a few short weeks after.
They released their first full length LP, When We Were Friends on January 27th, 2019.
The group is currently writing new material that they say is a product of the co-writing chemistry that has grown between Jonas & Joshua since their friendship began.

Produced by the band and Collin Pastore (Lucy Dacus, Julien Baker, Illuminati Hotties) and mixed by Carlos de la Garza (Paramore, M83, Best Coast), the 12 songs on No Joy find Spanish Love Songs grappling with the messiness of what it means to be alive in the modern age unsure of the answers themselves but confident that together, we can all come a little closer to the solutions. 'It may not immediately obvious on an album called No Joy, but I've grown bored with the darkness' Shares vocalist Dylan Slocum. 'I've spent three years finding out that all of my grand plans cannot stop the world, my complaining doesn't make me happy, and the happiness I do find is finite. This is an album about making peace with that.' The band has reconvened with the same energy, and are holding onto this as long as they can. 'We've torn the band down and built it back up to record the exact album we've been wanting to make. And we've ultimately arrived at the next stage of the bands evolution.' If Brave Faces Everyone was about mustering up the strength to barely break even in an increasingly bleak world, No Joy is finding the internal peace required to stay in the black. As Slocum says, its an album about finding happiness in what you have and your current moment. It might be your best moment, or it might not, but you have to find joy in it.

Speaking about the new album, they said, "Making music together for all these years has been the greatest gift of our lives. This album gives a nod to every step we have taken on the amazing journey we have been on as five scruffy friends from Rothwell, whilst also driving our sound to new, exciting areas.
