John Harold Arnold Bramwell, to give him his full name, is perhaps best-known for his time as the songwriter and frontman of Manchester three-piece, I Am Kloot. However, he also possesses an enviable back catalogue as a solo artist and continues to work on new material under the guise of his latest band, John Bramwell & The Full Harmonic Convergence. Bramwell’s first studio output appeared in 1989, when he was performing and recording as Johnny Dangerously and entitled You Me & The Alarm Clock, an album The Guardian referred to as one of the ‘greatest albums you’ve never heard.’ Following a stint as a television presenter and as a member of the band, The Mouth, Bramwell formed I Am Kloot, with two members of The Mouth. They went on to record six studio albums, including the Mercury-Prize nominated album, Sky At Night. Since 2016, Bramwell has reverted to being a solo artist and tours continuously, around the UK and Europe. A home-recorded solo album, Leave Alone the Empty Spaces appeared in 2018 and the follow-up, a more expansive affair, with a working title of The Light Fantastic, is now scheduled for release in 2022.

Formed in 1988 Paradise Lost is one of the most resilient British metal bands. They are credited with being one of the main influences of the later gothic metal movement. They were among the trailblazers of the death-doom genre. After releasing three cassette demos they were signed to Peaceville Records in 1989. They then recorded their debut album Lost Paradise which was released in 1990. As the band progressed they began incorporating new elements such as keyboard and female vocals. Always searching for new sounds the band effortlessly traversed through the sub-genres of metal The Bands’ 2017 and 2020 albums' The Plague Within’ and Medusa saw them return to their roots. The albums were met with open arms by fans and solidified themselves as veterans from several generations of metalheads.

Born in Annapolis, MD, Isabel LaRosa has music running through her DNA. Her dad would take her to open mic nights and jazz clubs growing up where he played the saxophone and her brother Thomas played guitar. Inspired by the musical influences around her, she began songwriting with Thomas in elementary school and from there, a creative duo was formed. Today, Isabel still writes and produces music solely with her brother. Together, they mix different musical styles - from electric bedroom pop to hyper and indie pop – to create a sound all their own. LaRosa’s videos are often inspired by sci-fi, thriller, and horror movies and television shows, and provide the backdrop for her sonic universe.

Over the past decade, Deaf Havana have risen through the ranks to become one of the best known names in the alt-rock scene. Recently topping a festival bill for the first time at 2000 Trees, the Norfolk formed outfit are carrying on the momentum this week as they release a brand new album and prepare for a headline tour later this year. We caught up with singer, guitarist and song-writer Matthew Veck-Gilodi to discuss what to expect from the record, how they curate setlists six studio albums deep and more!

The 69 Eyes are a Finnish rock band formed in Helsinki in 1989, blending gothic rock with glam metal in a style they coined "goth'n'roll". South Of Salem is a British hard rock band formed in Bournemouth in 2018, gaining recognition with their debut album "The Sinner Takes It All" in 2020. They've developed a reputation for high-energy live shows and are known for their melodic riffs and infectious hooks.

Cate Le Bon is a Welsh musician, songwriter and record producer who sings in both English and Welsh. Her stage name is a tribute to English musician Simon Le Bon.

“Our music is about wanting to provoke something,” says Charlie Steen, 19-year-old lead singer of London’s most talked-about young band, SHAME. “It’s not about standing onstage and singing pretty love songs. It’s about confrontation, energy, adrenaline and anarchy.” Shame instigated the daredevil club night, Chimney Shitters and creating a politically outspoken, DIY ethos reflecting a punk spirit in today’s world. “We are not puppets. Everything we do, we do ourselves,” says former Camberwell student, Steen. “From our songs to our clothes to the artwork for the singles, T-shirts, and fanzines. It’s all us. We are about creating a movement - it’s all our blood, sweat and tears.”

Vistas are a Scottish indie rock band from Edinburgh, Scotland. They released their debut studio album Everything Changes in the End in 2020.

Chesapeake Bay native Matt Maeson plays a dark-hued brand of rock that mixes gritty folk elements with slick modern pop production. The singer/songwriter first found success with his 2017 single "Cringe," then topped Billboard's Alternative Songs chart with "Hallucinogenics" from his 2019 debut album, Bank On the Funeral. Over the next two years, Maeson focused on collaborations, and in 2021 formed the project USERx with producer Rozwell. In 2022, he returned to his solo work with the single "Blood Runs Red."

Willie J Healey is an Oxford based musician. With his unique blend of indie rock and folk influences, he has captivated audiences worldwide. Born and raised in Oxfordshire, Willie's passion for music started at a young age. Joey Valence & Brae are an American hip-hop duo from State College, Pennsylvania, consisting of rappers Joseph Bertolino and Braedan Lugue. They gained internet recognition thanks to their breakout song "Punk Tactics", the title track to their debut album.

Geese is a band that begins and ends in Brooklyn, as a project between friends to build a home studio out of a basement. Their songs are born from the same ambition: make music by any means necessary. They began recording together with sneakers as mic stands and blankets draped over the amps, all within the afternoon following a school day, up until they ran the risk of noise complaints. As of their recent signing with Partisan Records, they are thinking about moving on from sneaker-laden mics and blanketed amps, but their musical ethos has not changed a bit. Curiously alien, yet strangely familiar, the band’s new material is a product of five teenagers whose love of music touches every part of their lives: their restless anxiety about their futures, and their pent-up frustration with their present-a perspective all too familiar in today’s uncertain world.

Cam makes it a habit to wear eye-catching yellow every time she goes out in public. The strings and acoustic guitar in her breakout #1 Platinum-certified smash, the Grammy and ACM Awards nominated Burning House, are stirringly fragile, a brave counterpoint to the party atmosphere of modern country. Camaron Marvel Ochs was born in the waterfront Southern California town of Huntington Beach, she spent big chunks of her youth at her grandparents’ horse ranch in Oceanside, where the tractor was red and the barn was blue. Her grandfather was both a cowboy and an entrepreneur – he started his own business, building wooden office desks – and her parents were similarly non-conformist. Her father grew up in a military family and had the guts to move out on his own at age 17, a time when most kids are looking to Dad for a few extra bucks to put gas in the car and see a movie. Her mother had an executive position in construction management at a time when those jobs were reserved almost exclusively for men. In turn, their independent, self-reliant streak was instilled in Cam, particularly after the family relocated to northern California. While living in Los Angeles, Cam met a kindred spirit in up-and-coming songwriter/producer Tyler Johnson (Taylor Swift, P!nk). A songwriting partnership was begun, with promising early results – they co-wrote a song on Miley Cyrus’ album Bangerz, and Cam also landed a song on a project by indie country act Maggie Rose. Cam and Johnson meticulously wrote and rewrote the material for weeks and months at a time under the watchful eye of GRAMMY®-winning producer and songwriter Jeff Bhasker (Fun., Mark Ronson), who helped bring her to the industry’s attention in New York, even while she made organic inroads in Music City. In a bit of a fluke, Cam’s music was discovered online by Nashville radio programmer Michael Bryan, who started playing one of her songs, Down This Road, on WSIX even though she was unsigned. In a rare situation, she’s now signed to both the country (Arista Nashville) and pop (RCA Records) labels – she sees herself as a country act, but if her music breaks out of the genre or finds an audience overseas, the pop division is waiting in the wings.

South African cellist Abel Selaocoe is redefining the parameters of the cello. He moves seamlessly across genres and styles and combines virtuosic performance with improvisation, singing, and body percussion. For this performance, Abel will present a rare solo show: a sonically immersive exploration of the musical works which inspire and drive him, using extended techniques and loops to build a layered soundworld of cello and vocals. Abel is devoted to composing works and curating programmes that highlight the links between Western and non-Western musical traditions, broadening the horizons of classical music to reach a more diverse audience. Since Abels first show with through the noise, he has regularly performed as part of his trio Chesaba and his quartet The Bantu Ensemble, as well as alongside a 15-piece chamber orchestra. This performance sees Abel return to the solo format for the first time since his debut show with through the noise back in 2021.

Growing up in Newham, East London, Alfa Mist began his musical journey as a grime and hip-hop producer. The self-taught pianist and occasional rapper soon found himself drawn to the jazz, world music and film soundtracks he discovered through sampling. His sound blends melancholy jazz harmony with alternative hip-hop and soul. His recently released second album 'Antiphon' has pushed him forward in the new jazz scene as one to watch following the warm reception of his first record 'Nocturne' which featured the likes of Tom Misch and Jordan Rakei.
