Britallica is the worlds first metal tribute to Britney Spears a high-energy mashup of pop princess anthems and headbanging metal attitude. Charged GBH embarked on several English and mainland US tours during the early 1980s, including several gigs at the 100 Club. 1982 saw GBH´s first LP, City Baby Attacked By Rats. Lyrically, the album dealt with criticism of British and European culture, violence, morbidity (especially in reference to the song ´´Passenger On The Menu´´, which describes in graphic detail the experiences of the passengers on the Uruguayan Air Force Flight 571), atheism, nihilism and humour. Musically, the album was loud and fast, with few songs exceeding three minutes. In 1984 the band changed their name to GBH (grievous bodily harm).

New Cross Live presents Liqueur - a tribute to The Cure The idea of forming a Cure tribute band was first jokingly discussed over more than a few beers in the summer of 2006. The original idea was to be a food and drink-based tribute band, given The Cure's reputation as enthusiastic drinkers and lovers of a good curry! Hours of fun ensued fooding up Cure songs and albums, including such gems as Piemary, A Forest Gateaux, Quiche me Quiche Me Quiche Me and Seventeen Seconds (can you see what we did there). However once sober, it was decided that a more traditional tribute route should be taken if we ever wanted to play to an audience without getting food thrown at us! However, the throwaway name, Liqueur, seemed to stick. Original Liqueur members, Mark (drums), Daz (bass) and Chris (Guitar/Vocals) were seasoned veterans of the Norfolk music scene and had previously all played together in a mid 90's Britpop band, Betty Ford. Although not intentional (sic), we were often referred to as a Blur tribute band, thus making the transition to another tribute band relatively straightforward. At the beginning of 2007, The Three Imaginary Boys began rehearsals in earnest with their first gig taking place on a cliff top somewhere in North Norfolk in August of the same year. The following year, Gary was added to the band on guitar and keyboards. The new 4-piece Liqueur debuting at The Brickmakers, Norwich in December 2008. From this point onwards Liqueur have gigged all over the UK regularly, the reception we receive from our audiences is always fantastic and we have made many friends on our travels, many of whom now travel the country to watch us play. Comments such as, You sound more like The Cure than The Cure! Or Im more excited about seeing Liqueur than seeing The Cure! are not a rare occurrence. In 2012, Liqueur introduced Dave into the fold on keyboards and occasional guitar, however family commitments (and a love of techno) made his tenure somewhat short-lived and he was replaced by Si in 2013, thus giving Liqueur its current classic 5 piece line-up. What makes Liqueur special is the fact that we all like The Cure; weve been fans since we were kids (I would calculate the accumulative fan years we hold but I dont have enough fingers, and hailing from Norfolk, that's really saying something!). Having previously been booked to play a set of Sisters of Mercy tracks at Whitby in 2019 the band were then asked to support The Spouky Kids last year at a gothic wedding. That moment opened their eyes to the possibilities of a tribute. The band are recreating tracks from the Reptile House EP through to the Vision Thing album, with visual representation of Andrew Eldritch, Wayne Hussey, Craig Adams and Patricia Morrison and slideshow charting moments of the band's era through this period. Bad Company enjoyed great success throughout the 1970s. Their first three albums, 'Bad Company' (1974), 'Straight Shooter' (1975) and 'Run with the Pack' (1976), reached the top five in the album charts in both the UK and the US. Many of their songs remain staples of classic rock radio. For seven years Robert Hart was their lead singer. Quest Master is an Australian project that burst onto the underground 'dungeon synth' scene in 2017. Known for its nostalgic soundscapes reminiscent of 90s RPGs, the project utilizes classic digital tones from Yamaha and Casio keyboards. Its early works, including "Lost Songs of Distant Realms," "The Twelve Castles," and "The Twelve Temples," draw heavily from the soundtracks of early N64 and PSX games. In 2023, the project took a new direction with "Sword & Circuitry," embracing the lush, ethereal sounds of 80s synthesizer music. Bruce Juice are bringing a range of unique features to live gigs in the UK. At several selected gigs, Bruce Juice will perform the whole album of either ‘Born to Run’ or ‘Wild & Innocent’, as the first half of the show. At various stages during 2023, the band will also feature the “Darkness ’78” tour, the “Born in the USA” album and “The River” album. Neo-psychedelic pop band 14 Iced Bears was formed in South London in mid-1985 by singer/guitarist Rob Sekula, bassist Alan White and drummer Nick Emery. Soon after relocating to the Brighton area, White exited the group, with bassist Dominic Minques and rhythm guitarist Kevin Canham signing on to record their 1986 Frank label debut single "Inside." Roster changes continued to plague 14 Iced Bears over the course of a series of singles including 1987's "Balloon Song" and the following year's "Come Get Me" (the latter an early release on the famed Sarah label), but upon signing to Thunderball to record their self-titled 1988 debut LP, the line-up finally stabilized, with Sekula and Canham joined by bassist and drummer Graham Durrant. The album was a cult favorite both at home and abroad, leading to a brief flirtation with major label Geffen, but nevertheless 14 Iced Bears' next single, 1989's "Mother Sleep," again appeared on Thunderball; the company collapsed in the wake of the following year's "World I Love," however, and the group landed with the Borderline imprint for 1991's Wonder before disbanding.

7 Seconds Of Love FIRST LONDON SHOW IN 9 YEARS It's no surprise that Britain's ska-tinged comedy rock act 7 Seconds of Love is the creation of Joel Veitch, the Internet animator behind cult website www.rathergood.com and Quizno's ads featuring the infamous Spongmonkeys. After recruiting his brother Alex Veitch to play keyboards, Joel met the five other musicians who would round out the act -- Pat Schulenburg (guitar), Ed Snow (drums), Ed Harding (trumpet), Ian Paterson (saxophone), and Stephen Pattison (bass). The band started playing shows in London, later expanding to regional and national gigs, as well as maintaining an enthusiastic digital following thanks to Joel's animated music videos and the release of singles. In January 2007, fans in Argentina alerted 7 Seconds of Love that a Coca-Cola commercial being shown in the country bore a striking similarity to the group's song and video for "Ninja." Ion Maiden Formed in August 2018, Ion Maiden was built around the core of four ex-members of some of the best Maiden tribute bands in the UK, and with only one rehearsal their first gig was an instant success with Maiden fans. Since they exploded onto the scene they have played Holland, various clubs throughout the UK, and London raising over £3,000 towards the Legend that is Paul Di’Anno at the Camden Underworld, who was blown away by the video footage that was sent to him in Croatia. More recently they were honoured to be asked to open the “Birthplace of Iron Maiden” the Cart & Horses after its lengthy refurbishment, with support from another Iron Maiden stars band, Doug Sampson (Airforce) the original drummer of the soundhouse tapes. The Toasters Are One Of The Original American Third-Wave Ska Bands. Founded In New York Way Back In 1981 By Buck. He Moved Over To The Us To Manage The Forbidden Planet Comic Book Store, One Year Later He Formed The Toasters. Their First Show Was Opening For Bad Brains That Same Year, And Later Along In ’83 They Released Their First Single Beat Up. Two More Years Along And They Reach Recriminations, Their Debut Ep, Produced By Joe Jackson. This Was The Point Buck Decided To Create Moon Ska Records.
