New Park Centre

A charity-run community centre in the heart of Chichester Cathedral City, situated next to the beautiful Jubilee Park. The venue offers over 60 sports, arts and community activities to the public and various halls to hire. The centre’s sports facilities were enhanced in 2012 with the opening of a the new dojo, designed to Olympic specifications, where a full range of martial arts can be accommodated, including club competitions, as well as other activities requiring a matted floor area. The hall also has a viewing gallery and changing rooms with shower facilities. The new building also has a large hall, overlooking Jubilee Park, with a sprung wooden floor and kitchen/bar, ideal for dance and many sports activities, as well as hire for functions and special occasions. New Park Centre is also home to Chichester’s independent cinema offering an extensive range of independent and world films each season, plus there are additional halls for hire including the Old Dojo, the Studio, the Auditorium and two meetings rooms. The onsite licenced café bar was recently refurbished and offers a full range of wines, beers, hot and cold soft drinks and snacks providing a bright, airy but intimate space to relax before or after your class or to meet family and friends.

The 4th annual Chichester JAZZFEST25 at New Park Centre Auditorium. This year sees more stars than ever with 3 of the greatest names in contemporary music all in one place. Hosted by Nic Saunders and RhythmEarth Trio with no less than 3 WORLD CLASS names - Dave O'Higgins, UKs legendary jazz saxophonist. Jim Mullen, one of the greatest guitarist of all time and one half of the great Morrissey Mullen Band. Heidi Vogel, one of the great jazz voices and iconic singer with the Cinematic Orchestra.
