It's the 25th anniversary of the hit song "Woke Up This Morning", which served as the iconic theme song for the acclaimed TV show The Sopranos, and the track which features on both records.

The band, formed in 1993, had an impressive run of hit singles throughout the late 90's/early 00's, including ’Bluetonic’, ‘Slight Return’, ‘Marblehead Johnson’, ‘Solomon Bites The Worm’, ‘If’ and ‘Keep the Fires Burning’. They scored thirteen Top 40 singles and three Top 10 albums in the UK charts before splitting up in 2011. The Complete Stone Roses are now one of the UK’s most well-known, most seen and most successful tribute bands. Selling out venues across the UK and Ireland regularly, they have helped to carry on the music of one of the UK’s most influential bands - The Stone Roses. The Stone Roses played a pivotal role in the history of the UK’s indie music scene. Famous hits like Fools Gold, I Am The Resurrection and I Wanna Be Adored are as recognisable now as were the heyday of Madchester and the Hacienda, the cultural icons from which the original band were born. The Completes, as they are affectionately referenced to by their fans, play to acclaim both from fans themselves, the press, and even original Stone Roses band members. Former Stone Roses bass player Mani, has not only just appeared as a warm up DJ for the band on the odd occasion but has also played onstage with them as their guest bassist playing She Bangs The Drums on more than a few times when he was touring about with the band. Mani says “they do our songs real justice. At times, they play even better than we did.”

The Anti Nowhere League started up in 1980 in Royal Tunbridge Wells. They released their debut single ´´Streets of London´´ b/w ´´So What´´ in 1981. The single reached number 48 in the UK charts and would have probably got higher had it not been seized by the Police´s Obscenity Squad due to the profanity-laden b-side. ´´So What´´ has since become the band´s anthem and has been covered by Metallica who play the track regularly to this day in concert. This was followed up by their seminal debut album ´´We are...the League´´ in 1982 on WXYZ Records. This was followed by their ´´Live in Yugoslavia´´ album but the band has split by the end of the 1980´s. Since reforming the band have released some incredible albums such as ´´The Horse is Dead´´, ´´Out Of Control´´, ´´The Road to Rampton´´ and more. In 2017 the Anti-Nowhere League have released their latest album ´´League Style ( Loosen Up )´´ which includes their own unique take on classi Ska & Reggae tunes such as ´´Long Shot Kick De Bucket´´, ´´Johnny Too Bad´´, ´´Suzanne Beware of the Devil´´ and more.

Hard rockers Massive Wagons formed in 2009 in their hometown of Carnforth, England with vocalist Barry Mills and guitarist Adam Thistlethwaite who were at the time on the local live circuit as part of indie rock band Ace Face (though with Mills on bass guitar). The duo decided to strike out with their own music of a harder hitting variety, with the stage show to match. The decision was influenced by the resurging popularity of hard rock acts of the time, primarily Airbourne and Black Stone Cherry and the duos lifelong affinity for classic rock acts such as UFO, Rainbow and Slade. Adams brother Alex was recruited on drums and old school buddy Adam Bouskill joined on bass, freeing Mills to focus on the role of frontman, the line-up was completed by Carl Cochrane on rhythm guitar. For a while the 5 piece was nameless until they jokingly adopted the nickname of a local barmaid for their first gig, only for the name to stick and become their official moniker.

Isabella Sophie Tweddle, better known under the stage name Billie Marten, is a British singer-songwriter and musician from Ripon in North Yorkshire. Her stage name came from her family's desire to keep her real name private because her music career started when she was a tween.

Starting his musical journey aged five in Paris, Cian Godfrey (aka Somebody’s Child) took to playing the piano in the family apartment. Upon moving back to Ireland, he gained an interest in songwriting, enabling him to tell his own stories. These narratives often reflect upon difficult mental health experiences, as well as the endearing happenings of a youngster growing up in Dublin.

Manchester-based electro/indie quartet Slow Readers Club, lead by Starkie brothers, make guitar-centric pop music with a dark, dramatic edge.
