Creative Highlights - A shortcut to Nature Journalling
Have you wanted to create a nature journal, but dont know where to start or how to do it? Artist Steve Pardue will take you through the process he follows for creating his own journals, which are an expression of the joy he feels when out and about in the woods or by the river. Steve will be using his own journals of nature captured over the last five years to show how you can create a body of work, by simply recording in your own way the things you see every day. There are no rules and no great artistic skill is required - just observation and a daily habit of drawing. Steve will show you the materials he uses and the techniques he employs. Weather permitting, you will spend some time outdoors looking at the nature around before coming back indoors and drawing your observations. Steve will provide a small kit of materials which will include: a fineliner, My Shortcut to Nature Journalling guide and a blank concertina nature journal. This is a half day workshop for ages 18+ https://www.stevepardue.art Workshop length: Approx 3 hours including a break Light refreshments will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch if required.
