The Van Morrison Alumni Band, a repertoire company unlike any other, features the musicians who played thousands of concerts and recorded hundreds of songs with Van Morrison, over a period of transition when Van Morrison was making some of his most successful and loved albums including 1995’s million selling “Days Like This” and 1997’s “The Healing Game”. The evening will be curated and hosted by saxophonist and broadcaster Leo Green, who played on seven albums by Van Morrison and appeared on stages with him all over the world. Choosing from over 44 studio albums the concert will feature the works from throughout Van Morrison’s career, some of which are very rarely heard live in concert.

Ziad Hisham is a visionary guitarist and composer blending the expressive depth of jazz with the rich heritage of Egyptian music. With a growing international presence, Ziad is shaping a sound that is both rooted in tradition and forward-thinking, offering listeners an immersive musical journey where jazz harmonies intertwine with Egyptian maqams, and dynamic rhythms drive fluid improvisation. Performing for over a decade, Ziad has developed his instrumental project alongside collaborations with renowned artists such as Grammy Award winner Fathy Salama, Sheikh Mahmoud El Tohamy, Sara Moullablad, Luka Salam, Mohamed Abo Zekry, and Amena. On this special evening Ziad's band will feature Anmol Mohara on drums, Ovidiu Antonovic on keys and Theo Archer on Bass. After the band DJ Ayman Sinada will keep the club moving until late. Blue Lab Beats Presents: David Mrakpor & Bonuru
On July 31st the one and only David Mrakpor will return to the Notting Hill Arts Club for a slamming night of live music that you won't want to miss. The London-born & based multi-instrumentalist David Mrakpor is often be seen performing around the city and internationally on various different instruments such as Keyboards, Drums, Guitar and Vibraphone. David is a member of the 6 piece collective Brown Penny, which is led by saxophonist Cassie Kinoshi. He is also a member of fellow London-based trumpeter Mark Kavuma’s The Banger Factory and is more widely recognised as MR DM, one half of the Grammy-winning Jazztronica duo Blue Lab Beats. For this concert he be showcasing some of his solo-music with his trio. Before David's performance will be Bonuru. Bonuru is the creation of writer, bandleader & guitarist Jacob M-T. His compositions have their roots in the exciting new sounds of UK Jazz, but also draw influence from genres as diverse as Alt Rock, Dub and Soul. Bonuru are signed to Blue Adventure Records, a label set up by NK-OK of Blue Lab Beats. Since their signing, Bonuru have been played on BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio 3, WWFM, and Jazz FM, and have been highly praised by prestigious DJs such as Gilles Peterson, Soweto Kinch and Emily Pilbeam. Intalekt takes crowds on sonic journeys through numerous genres, playing edits, remixes, and blends. He is the DJ for the renowned jazz group Steamdown. He has performed in numerous countries, including South Africa, Namibia, Switzerland, France, and London venues such as Tate Britain, KOKO, V&A, and Jazz Café, to name a few. Intalekt has set the tone for headlining acts like Noname, D Double E, Lex Amor, Kojey Radical & Jaz Karis.
