The Van Morrison Alumni Band, a repertoire company unlike any other, features the musicians who played thousands of concerts and recorded hundreds of songs with Van Morrison, over a period of transition when Van Morrison was making some of his most successful and loved albums including 1995’s million selling “Days Like This” and 1997’s “The Healing Game”. The evening will be curated and hosted by saxophonist and broadcaster Leo Green, who played on seven albums by Van Morrison and appeared on stages with him all over the world. Choosing from over 44 studio albums the concert will feature the works from throughout Van Morrison’s career, some of which are very rarely heard live in concert.

Notting Hill Arts Club: In Close are proud to welcome British singer, songwriter and musician Belouis Some for a Q & A session followed by an exclusive live performance. Belouis Some, London singer-songwriter, had worldwide hits in the 1980s with Some People and Imagination. Belouis Some's first album Some People 1985, was recorded in New York and featured Carlos Alomar with Bernard Edwards and Tony Thompson from Chic on the rhythm section. In 1987 Gary Langan (Art of Noise) and Guy Fletcher (Dire Straits) produced Some's second album Belouis Some with hit singles Let It Be With You and Animal Magic. Belouis Some toured extensively in the 80’s including supporting Frankie Goes To Hollywood in the USA and opening for Queen on the Magic Tour 1986. In November 2024 Belouis Some played his first gig in many years headlining the o2 Academy Islington and embarks on tour in the USA in April and again later in the summer with a line-up that includes Big Country, China Crisis, A Flock of Seagulls and General Public. Suported by Baby Brave, and Indie Pop band from Wrexham. Imagine a sound somewhere nestled between Warpaint and Talking Heads, playing classic pop songs with soaring melodies, disco rhythms, gut wrenching guitars and a sonic palette that ranges from echo-laden new wave to distorted post-punk. We welcome you to Kawkab Bashar (Planet Bashar) where each one of us is a universe revolving within the sonic spheres. Bringing forth his musical opus so far, Bashar will be sharing his most known works with the London crowds, while offering an exclusive sneak peak of his upcoming debut LP collaboratively produced by iconic Producer Howie B. London based Kuwaiti artist Etaf, will be opening the night, ushering in vocal and emotive power with a pop-Khaliji twist. On May 6 Nate Mani & the Heavy Hitters bringing a night of live jazz infused with a heavy dose of uk groove. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Snarky Puppy and Anderson Pak, Heavy Hitters music have with rich textures, complex rhythms, emotive melodies and is always soulful. The last time the Heavy Hitters came to NHAC they pushed the boundaries of genre with fan-favourite covers blended with original tunes. There will also be 2 very special featured acts: London-based artists Zion and Siobhan are a musical force that refuses to be confined. Blending R&B, pop, and hip-hop, they fearlessly experiment across genres, creating a sound uniquely their own. With a mission to inspire and empower young black women, their music resonates with all who seek good vibes and positivity. Taking cues from icons like Missy Elliott, Cleo Sol, and Destiny’s Child, Zion and Siobhan pay homage to the past while blazing a trail into the future. Shalini Rani, meaning “Modest Queen” in Hindi, is a British-Indian artist seamlessly blending the smooth melodies of R&B with the improvisational soul of jazz. Rooted in the rich textures of Neo Soul, her sound is both timeless and contemporary-drawing listeners in with emotionally honest lyrics and a voice that speaks directly to the heart. Shalini has become a familiar face at jam sessions across the city. Lexi Berg is a Swedish-American singer-songwriter from London, known for her raspy, powerful voice and 70s-inspired sound. Lexi blends Swedish pop melodies, piano songwriting, and hints of folk, creating a warm soundscape. Her single 'What If' was featured in the BAFTA and Oscar-nominated film, Pieces of a Woman, and she has since toured with Deacon Blue, performed at major UK festivals, and been supported by BBC Radio 1, Radio 2, and Radio 6. Ebony Buckle is a conceptual pop artist known for her ethereal vocals and cinematic soundscapes. Her unique rendition of "Silver Dagger" in the BBC drama Inspector George Gently topped the iTunes World Music Charts. Ebony has also shared the stage with legendary acts like Solstice and Focus. Fresh from her tour in the Netherlands supporting Anneke Van Giersbergen, Ebony continues to captivate audiences with her emotive performances. KATYA is a singer, songwriter and producer KATYA combines soulful vocals, layered guitar and keys with electronic beats, and ambient soundscapes. She’s performed at Glastonbury twice and opened for Paul Carrack on his 22-date UK tour, culminating at the Royal Albert Hall. Julius Eastwood is a alt-pop artist & songwriter from Wales. Driven by themes of identity and class - Julius' music is a blend of electronica and storytelling, and has been played on radio stations across the U.K. He receiving a nomination for 'Best Music Video' at Focus Wales, BBC Introducing made Julius their 'Artist of the Week'. Her jazzy and soul-infused album INTERLUDE showcases the same vision she brings to this night where she will perform some of her favorite tracks.
