Van Morrison Alumni Band

Van Morrison Alumni Band

30 Sept 2025 - 28 Nov 2025

The Van Morrison Alumni Band, a repertoire company unlike any other, features the musicians who played thousands of concerts and recorded hundreds of songs with Van Morrison, over a period of transition when Van Morrison was making some of his most successful and loved albums including 1995’s million selling “Days Like This” and 1997’s “The Healing Game”. The evening will be curated and hosted by saxophonist and broadcaster Leo Green, who played on seven albums by Van Morrison and appeared on stages with him all over the world. Choosing from over 44 studio albums the concert will feature the works from throughout Van Morrison’s career, some of which are very rarely heard live in concert.
Creation Youth Presents: 3head

Creation Youth Presents: 3head

18 Sept 2025 - 18 Sept 2025

This is a Creation Youth night at Notting Hill Arts Club so it’s fitting to introduce the cast: We finished our album last summer with Youth at his studio in Granada, Spain therefore it's only fitting he DJ on the night. We always aim for a very rhythmic sound which is bass heavy and features strings so who better than the man who played bass with KJ and mixed Bittersweet Symphony! We will showcase songs from the Spain session on this special night as a prequel to the album. 3head are originally a Brixton collective based around Calina de la Mare (arranger and player of strings), Ras B (toaster extraordinaire) and Al Macaulay (drums and piano, co-founder of Tindersticks). 3head have previously toured with Weatherall, On U, and all sorts. 3Head aim to showcase the new album and bring in special guests from the past two albums too: Uncle Fester on Acid has worked with On U sound for many years and his DJ sets are not to be missed. Warrior Queen comes all the way from Jamaica, an acolyte of Patra in Kingston, she has her own peerless style now. Sophie Sirota from Coastal Electronauts is mining her own seam of electric viola and gaining massive acclaim, she makes up the electric string section. Described by Time Out: ‘’a beguiling mix of epic, steaming dub, flecked with frantic toasting, molten soul vocals all underpinned by deft breakbeats..Haunted and haunting 3head create a throbbing underworld all their own.’’ It’s going to be a big, beautiful evening.
