Novello Theatre
The former Strand Theatre was built as a pair of the Aldwych, each of them flanking the Waldorf Hotel so that theatregoing guests at the hotel barely had to venture out the door before finding entertainment. In 2005 it was renamed in honour of the composer and stage idol Ivor Novello, who used to live in a flat above the theatre. It's currently the home of the long-running Mamma Mia!.
The nearest Tube stations are Covent Garden (Piccadilly), Charing Cross (Northern / Bakerloo, also surface rail) and Holborn (Central / Piccadilly). Buses 6, 19, 13 and 77a stop outside the theatre. There's an NCP car park in nearby Drury Lane.
