The Undertones emerged from Derry in 1976, the result of five friends learning how to play basic rock and roll. David Alan Kushner II is an American singer-songwriter. Raised in the suburbs of Chicago, he moved to Los Angeles and began releasing music. Kushner's song "Miserable Man" (2022) went viral on TikTok and peaked at number 11 on the charts in Norway and number 19 in Ireland, additionally reaching the top 40 in Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. Along with the single "Mr. Forgettable", it appeared on his debut extended play Footprints I Found (2022). Kushner received 556 million streams within a year of releasing music. His song "Daylight" was released on April 14, 2023. Kushner has served as the opening act for one of Lauv's tours.

Well, Oasis are no more. The back stage bust ups and public slanging matches on Twitter proved too much for this great British band. Thankfully, their No1 Tribute-Definitely Mightbe (now in their twelfth year) don’t share the same sibling rivalry as the real thing, but they do have a lot in common when it comes to reproducing the rousing anthems, stage presence and atmosphere that the originals created. With over two hours of material to draw from, including all the hit’s from all seven albums, live favourites, B-sides and a couple of Noel’s acoustic number’s, when the boys start there’s no stopping them. And who wants to stop when everybody’s having a good time? Lead singer Ian bears an uncanny resemblance to Liam and has worked as a look-a-like in the UK appearing on BBC1, Channel 4, Sky TV and ITV. Publicity campaigns and advertising for HMV, Virgin, Q Magazine, Loaded, Royal Bank Of Scotland, Lloyds Bank and the National Press. Ian was also asked to star in a video for heavy metal legends MOTORHEAD as Liam and also providing a voice over for a recent documentary accompanying the new Oasis-”Time Flies” DVD. To add to this, Ian has the knack of sounding like Liam too and was asked to provide the vocals on a dance remix of Wonderwall set for release in summer 2010. Paul Mitchell takes up the reigns as Noel and mimics the riffs and lead breaks with such precision you’d think you were listening to the CD. A very loud CD. Stiff Little Fingers were formed in 1977 in Belfast, Ireland. Along with the likes of the Clash, Sex Pistols, The Jam, Buzzcocks, Undertones, Sham 69, Stranglers, et al – Stiff Little Fingers were at the forefront of the punk movement. They wrote initially about their own lives, growing up at the height of The Troubles in Northern Ireland, in songs like “Suspect Device” and “Wasted Life”. In November of ’77, they released those two songs on their own Rigid Digits label, and sent a copy to BBC Radio One DJ John Peel, who started playing it every night. These were the first of what became SLF’s signature style: lyrics that meld the personal and political, music that combines the energy of punk with infectious hooks, and delivery that rings of honesty and commitment. In 1979 they became the first band ever to hit the UK top 20 album charts on an independent label with their debut Inflammable Material. The album chronicles the band’s anger and frustration at “the Troubles” in Northern Ireland, and calls on youth to create their own reality. Over the years, their live shows continued to be special events of energy and power. Their studio albums demonstrate their passion and anger, each in its own way. In ’94 they released the Get a Life LP. The album helped renew interest in SLF just as newer bands that sited them as a major influence, such as Bad Religion, Sugar, Rancid and Therapy?, were coming to prominence. After many studio albums and countless tours, Stiff Little Fingers find themselves more in demand than ever.

After fronting the Sex Pistols, John Lydon formed post-punk originators Public Image Ltd (PiL). Widely regarded as one of the most innovative bands of all time, their music and vision earned them 5 UK Top 20 Singles and 5 UK Top 20 Albums. With a shifting line-up and unique sound - fusing rock, dance, folk, pop and dub - Lydon guided the band from their debut album ‘First Issue’ in 1978 through to 1992’s ‘That What Is Not’, before a 17 year hiatus. Lydon reactivated PiL in 2009, touring extensively and releasing two critically acclaimed albums ‘This is PiL’ in 2012 followed by ‘What The World Needs Now…’ in 2015. John Lydon, Lu Edmonds, Scott Firth and Bruce Smith continue as PiL. They are the longest stable line-up in the band's history and continue to challenge and thrive.

Limehouse Lizzy continue to keep the spirit of Celtic rock icon Philip Lynott and his band Thin Lizzy alive, well and dominating stages worldwide. Award-winning, multi-venue music festival Dot To Dot was launched in 2005 and has since become one of the UK’s most popular festivals for showcasing the hottest new talent alongside top-name acts. The first edition was held in Nottingham at three venues (Rescue Rooms, The Bodega and Stealth) with a line-up that included Ladytron and The Rakes. In 2007, Dot To Dot expanded to encompass a second date and city: Bristol. Held at various venues across both metropolitan areas, the line-up – which featured The Cribs, New Young Pony and Kate Nash – didn’t rotate. Instead all the artists played Nottingham on the first day, and then moved on to Bristol the following day. Dot To Dot added a third day and venues in London for 2008, but stripped that location back for 2009. In 2010, the festival expanded to Manchester and for the next nine years that three-city rotation remained. Not only has the multi-city, multi-venue touring festival helped put acts such as Catfish And The Bottlemen, Mumford & Sons, The 1975, Florence + The Machine, Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi and Fontaines D.C. on the map, but past editions have also boasted the likes of Bastille, Cage The Elephant, Frank Turner, Mystery Jets, Skepta, Sundara Karma, The xx and many more.

A solo moniker for Philadelphia musician Michelle Zauner, Japanese Breakfast is known for her artfully experimental, deeply intimate brand of indie pop. Taking a break from her band Little Big League, she debuted in 2013 with the melodically lo-fi cassette release June. Along with further work with Little Big League, she has continued to expand her sonic palette, weaving in atmospheric synths, electric guitars, and electronics on 2016's Psychopomp and 2017's Soft Sounds from Another Planet. In 2021, Zauner hit number two on the New York Times nonfiction best-seller list with her memoir, Crying in H Mart, which found her exploring her Korean heritage in the wake of her mother's death from cancer. On the heels of her memoir, Japanese Breakfast released a companion album, Jubilee. Also that year, she supplied the score to the video game Sable.

Heaven 17 are a British synthpop band originating in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England that was formed in 1980, having much 80s success with their electronic sound. Taking their name from a fictional group mentioned in Anthony Burgess's novel A Clockwork Orange (where 'The Heaven Seventeen' are at number 4 in the charts with 'Inside'), Heaven 17 formed when Ian Craig Marsh and Martyn Ware split from their earlier group, The Human League, and devised the production company British Electric Foundation (B.E.F.).

New Zealand four-piece The Beths channel their longtime friendship into high-energy guitar pop with a smart lyrical bite. Guitarist, lead vocalist, and primary songwriter Elizabeth Stokes and guitarist Jonathan Pearce attended high school together before meeting up with longtime mates bassist Benjamin Sinclair and drummer Ivan Luketina-Johnston at the University of Auckland, where all four studied jazz. After gigging together in a variety of configurations, the quartet came together for a project exploring the pop and rock sounds of their youth. Everything clicked, and The Beths were born.
