The Undertones emerged from Derry in 1976, the result of five friends learning how to play basic rock and roll. Practicing in their bedrooms eventually led to the band recording ‘Teenage Kicks’ in 1978 on Terri Hooley's Good Vibrations label in Belfast. The legendary DJ John Peel received a copy and liked it so much he played it twice in a row on his radio show.

Shed Seven is made up of drummer Alan Leach, guitarists Joe Johnson and Paul Banks, lead vocals from Rick Witter and Tom Gladwin on bass.

In October 1980 three musicians took to the stage in their hometown of Bradford to play a gig under the name New Model Army. Led by frontman and songwriter Justin Sullivan, this was the start of a remarkable journey which, 40 years on, has seen New Model Army develop a fervent worldwide fanbase and reach multiple milestones of both creative and commercial success. Members have changed over the years and musical styles have evolved but at the heart of the band Justin has remained, along with a distinct and sincere belief in the power of music to inspire and effect change on a personal and political scale, both locally and globally.

In 12 years the band have over 600 gigs under their belts across the length and breadth of the UK and abroad in over twenty different countries worldwide. The band are firmly established in many of the UK's top tribute venues with repeat bookings year after year. They regularly tour Europe and have played in 22 different countries worldwide. Their adventures have lead them to appear on Sky News, BBC Radio One and Two and The Gadget Show and to have played at major festivals alongside Bob Geldof, KT Tunstall, Ringo Starr, The Kaiser Chiefs, Razorlight and Roxette to name but a few. Coldplace know what is expected from a live tribute show - the accuracy, musicianship, dedication and passion for Coldplay's music. Their aim, as a tribute to one of the world's biggest bands, is to capture the feeling of a live Coldplay performance, the music, the visuals, the energy and the atmosphere. The band have extensive experience of all types of shows, from clubs to theatres, festivals to corporate functions and weddings to birthday parties. They have played for small and large crowds, from a handful of people to over 50,000. They are no strangers to main stages and headline spots at festivals and have played some of the largest tribute festivals in Europe such as Mathew Street Festival, Bospop (Netherlands), Glastonbudget and the legendary Fake Festivals.

Buddies from school and local bands, they went through several iterations and names – including Folkadots, Slaw and Terminal Seasons – before landing on the original line-up of Jaret Reddick, Chris Burney, Erik Chandler and Gary Wiseman. Inspired by a bit on Steve Martin’s A Wild And Crazy Guy comedy album, they also decided to be called Bowling For Soup.

Rock band Pixies formed in 1986 and released their first album Surfer Rosa in 1988. The original line-up was composed of Black Francis (vocals, rhythm guitar), Joey Santiago (lead guitar), Kim Deal (bass, backing vocals) and David Lovering (drums) and their debut album, which received good reviews and became a college hit in the US and UK, catapulted them to fame. With top 10 hits like Monkey Gone to Heaven and Here Comes Your Man, the band went on hiatus after the release of their second album before returning in 1990 with Bossanova, which reached No.3 in the UK. The band then disbanded acrimoniously in 1993, but reunited again in 2004, going on to enjoy several sold-out world tours. After Deal left in 2013, the Pixies hired Kim Shattuck as a touring bassist; but was replaced the same year by Paz Lenchantin, who became a permanent member in 2016.

Peter Hook first revisited the seminal Joy Division album Unknown Pleasures back in May 2010 for a commemorative charity concert and has followed it each year by performing subsequent albums from the repertoire of his bands, Joy Division and New Order. Peter Hook & The Light have since moved through each of those albums, culminating in the Factory Records Substance compilations, and recently celebrated over four decades of the continuing influence of Joy Division and Ian Curtis with the Joy Division: A Celebration concerts where both of the band’s albums were played in full.
