The Undertones emerged from Derry in 1976, the result of five friends learning how to play basic rock and roll. Practicing in their bedrooms eventually led to the band recording ‘Teenage Kicks’ in 1978 on Terri Hooley's Good Vibrations label in Belfast. The legendary DJ John Peel received a copy and liked it so much he played it twice in a row on his radio show.

Irish alternative group Picture This deliver pop-polished rock anthems that play like a mix of the 1975, Coldplay, and Mumford & Sons. Debuting in the late 2010s, their official debut Picture This topped the Irish charts upon release in 2017. The Maccabees are an English indie rock band, formed in 2004 in London. The band consists of Orlando Weeks, Felix White, Hugo White, Rupert Jarvis and Sam Doyle.

Formed in 1997, America's Death Cab For Cutie released their debut album Something About Airplanes to widespread acclaim from independent music reviewers. They built upon this success with 2000's We Have the Facts and We're Voting Yes and 2001's The Photo Album. After the release of the hugely popular fourth album Transatlanticism in October 2003, the band signed to Atlantic Records and released their major label debut Plans in 2005, selling 90,000 copies in its first week of release and moving the band to a new level of success.

Heaven 17 are a British synthpop band originating in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England that was formed in 1980, having much 80s success with their electronic sound. Taking their name from a fictional group mentioned in Anthony Burgess's novel A Clockwork Orange (where 'The Heaven Seventeen' are at number 4 in the charts with 'Inside'), Heaven 17 formed when Ian Craig Marsh and Martyn Ware split from their earlier group, The Human League, and devised the production company British Electric Foundation (B.E.F.).

Armand Van Helden returns to Scotland for his only Scottish show of the year, and remarkably, his first major club appearance here in over 25 years, having last played the legendary Arches in 1999. Over the past few years, the New York house icon has experienced a huge resurgence, returning to headline festivals and clubs worldwide as a new generation of DJs rediscover his catalogue. From the likes of Josh Baker to the modern wave of house selectors, Armands 90s and 00s anthems have found their way back into record bags and onto dance floors everywhere once again. With standout anthems like My My My You Dont Know Me and I Want Your Soul Armand is one of the greats in the House music scene!

Don Broco’s roots go back to the late 2000s when vocalist Rob Damiani, guitarist Simon Delaney, drummer Matt Donnelly and bassist Luke Rayner were attending Bedford Modern School together. After secondary school, they went on hiatus to attend university, but made a pact to return to playing post-graduation. Between 2009 and 2011, Don Broco performed at several UK festivals including Camden Crawl, Underage, Download, Sonisphere, Slam Dunk and Reading & Leeds. Although Rayner departed the band in 2012, they released their debut album Priorities that year and it broke into the UK top 40 singles chart. Tom Doyle also joined the group around that time as the new bassist. The standalone song You Wanna Know came out in 2013 and topped the UK rock singles chart. Don Broco scored their first UK top 10 album with Automatic, which came out in 2015 and reached the No.6 spot. It also helped them land a support slot on Bring Me The Horizon’s 2016 UK tour. Known for mixing massive hooks with brilliant melodies and clever, observational lyrics, by this time Don Broco’s sound had grown to encompass elements of funk, dance and new wave.
