Scott Bennett: Stuff

Scott Bennett: Stuff

13 Jun 2026 - 6 Jun 2027

As a society we love stuff, it’s a statement about who we are and who we want to be. But apparently, this message is at odds with the looming environmental crisis. We’re now struggling to balance these worlds, to focus on the things that bring us real connections and nourish the soul. Award-winning comedian and award-winning droduct designer Scott Bennett is desperately trying to cleanse his life of stuff, but is this even possible anymore? Tour support for Mickey Flanagan, Rob Brydon, Jason Manford and John Bishop. Star of Live at the Apollo, The News Quiz, The Now Show, The Ultimate Choice and Chortle Best Club Comedian Nominee 2022.

John Kearns Tilting at Windmills 2026 Tour
Tilting at Windmills is the brand-new stand-up show from Taskmaster alumni and double Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner, John Kearns. A fragmented, digressing portrayal of a 38-year-old man's life, alluding to books he hasn't read, touching on the modern condition. Plus VAT! More allusive and bleak as ever, it is unreal the comedian you become. And for who? Decent craic with the right crowd. A show for those who have read about but not committed to the Guinness Nitrosurge. Seen bewildered on Taskmaster (Channel 4), terrified on Live at the Apollo (BBC), getting through Never Mind the Buzzcocks (Sky), and implicating others on his Sky stand-up special The Varnishing Days. More comfortable on pods but comes alive on stage, for your pleasure! Directed by Olivier winner, Jon Brittain. The Guardian "most will surely be won over...with the delightful, poetic flourish that defines all his work... perfectly structured with overlapping themes and surprising callbacks... It's all rather wonderful" Chortle "about as funny as anything this decade" The Times this is a seated event
The Daisychain Connection

The Daisychain Connection

20 Jun 2026 - 20 Jun 2026

The Daisychain Connection + support from DJ Lovequest Like all so-called cult bands, the story of The Daisychain Connection is a tangle of joy, hope, disappointment, loss - and, in the end, acceptance. Formed in Carlisle in the mid-1980s, The Daisychain Connection never quite blossomed the way theyd hoped, but left enough scattered petals to be remembered fondly by those who were there. Their sound, a curious collision of jangly guitars, melancholic lyrics and stubborn northern optimism, earned them a small but devoted following - the sort who still keep old flyers in shoeboxes and can quote half-forgotten lyrics over a pint. After a handful of gigs, a few recordings, and the kind of near-misses that make great pub stories decades later, the band quietly folded - life, work and the real world calling louder than the dream of indie stardom. Yet the myth never quite died. Over the years, their name would surface in late-night conversations, on local radio nostalgia shows, or whispered between musicians whod once shared a bill or borrowed an amp. Now, forty years on, The Daisychain Connection return - older, greyer, none-the-wiser, and still armed with the same wobbly charm and battered guitars that started it all. This anniversary show isnt about chasing lost glory; its a celebration of persistence, friendship, and the long, strange joy of being in a band that never quite made it - but never quite went away. This one-off show isnt a comeback so much as a brief reappearance - a chance to shake the dust off old tunes and remember why they mattered in the first place. Expect to hear all the songs you know (and a few youd forgotten you knew), played with the same mix of enthusiasm, beautiful imperfection and heart that made The Daisychain Connection what they were - and, for one more night, still are. Celebrating 40 years of underachievement and inactivity! feels about right - a wink, a shrug, and a reminder that sometimes the best stories arent about success, but survival.
Walter Trout and Dan Patlansky

Walter Trout and Dan Patlansky

2 Oct 2026 - 18 Oct 2026

Walter Trout's backstory is a page-turner you won't want to put down. Five decades in the making; it is equal parts thriller, romance, suspense and horror. There are musical fireworks, critical acclaim and fists-aloft triumph, offset by wilderness years and brushes with the jaws of narcotic oblivion. There are feted early stints as gunslinger in bands from John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers to Canned Heat, and the solo career that’s still blazing a quarter-century later. The veteran bluesman has seen and done it all - plays earth shattering blues rock music. In only a little over a decade, Dan Patlansky has become one of the busiest and most respected blues artists to ever come out of South Africa. After his debut album which garnered Dan a reputation as a Blues-phenomenon, and his subsequent “Readers Choice” vote as “Best Blues Guitarist in Southern Africa”, Dan’s second album was released by EMI on the famed Blue Note label. Dan is one of the only South Africans to ever achieve “Blue Note” status and one of only six Fender endorsed guitarists in South Africa. Dan Patlansky, #1 Blues Rock Album 2016 by Blues Rock Review.

Ian Stone - Looking for the Wow

Ian Stone - Looking for the Wow

3 Sept 2026 - 23 Nov 2026

Life can’t just be the humdrum, the mundane and the routine before the inevitable slide to disease, decay and death. Why can’t we sneak in a bit of awesome, a tad of amazing and maybe a smidge of wonderful? A forest canopy opening onto a huge vista would be enchanting for some but my ancestors wandered in the desert for forty years, I think we’ve been outdoors enough. Others get their fix from the spiritual but I’ve been harbouring a grudge against God since my mother stopped me going to Arsenal after my Barmitzvah. Forty nine years ago. ’God will be watching’ she said. Well, at least he got to see the game. The point is, life could be so much better so I’m on the lookout. Come and join me on the hunt.

Jenny Talia

Jenny Talia

5 Nov 2026 - 13 Nov 2026

JENNY TALIA is an Australian comedy rockstar a razor-sharp stand-up musical menace with a guitar - and on this solo UK tour, she is WITHOUT ADULT SUPERVISION. Her shows blend quick, fearless comedy with filthy original songs & savage crowd work. Shes toured internationally, supported comedy legends (including her Dad, comedy icon, Kevin Bloody Wilson) and earned a reputation for shows that are smart & filthy, with a cult following for performances that feel more like a party than a comedy set. With 10 albums under her belt, shes a chaotic mix of quick wit, fast paced banter and songs. Her delivery can be both ridiculous and weirdly relatable, yet somehow still charming. As an Aussie, touring here is always a highlight. Some of my favourite comedians are from the UK, so Id consider the Poms comedy connoisseurs. Its such a buzz to get to play for them
Hothouse Flowers

Hothouse Flowers

3 Nov 2026 - 27 Dec 2026

Since the release of their last CD, 'Into Your Heart' Hothouse Flowers have been playing steadily around Ireland, America, Great Britain, Japan and Europe. Their shows last between two and three hours depending on the level of fever in the room. Most recently their sound has been enhanced and reinvigorated by the return of Peter O’Toole on bass, bouzouki and vocals. Drumming with the band these last ten years is Dave Clarke. Dave has been a drummer in Dublin since the beginning. His commitment to the beat is mesmerizing. His style has been a force in the direction of Hothouse Flowers today. Also playing with the band these days is Dorset man Martin Brunsden on double bass and backing vocals. His musicality adds yet another dimension to the ever evolving sound of the band. There is an unpredictable energy in the band that harkens back to the 'Risk' days. They call upon their grand repertoire to create a show that is unique to the time and place. No two shows are the same. Improvisation can come at any point and allow the men express their brightest and their darkest influences. 'Rock and Roll is not about safety or politeness, it is not about perfection either. It is expression and it is spirit.' Humour is also never far from a Hothouse Flowers night. They do not take themselves seriously however, there is no mistaking the musical integrity among them as they open up to each other in musical dialogue. Fiachna, Liam and Peter are traditional musicians. This allows for moments of ancestral connection. What was a second before a Doors-like workout, becomes an earnest and a timeless offering to the memory of Currachaí na Tra Báine. A song inherited by Fiachna describing the blow inflicted upon a community and a family due to drowning. This moment and moments like these set the Flowers apart from almost any other band of their time and trade. They are carriers of Culture and all of what that entails. Hothouse Flowers came out of tough times. They played the streets and brought the streets to the stages of the world. Individually Fiachna and Liam are enjoying a broadening of their horizons. Fiachna has been producing and presenting radio and television programmes and working as a composer of music for television. Liam has been collaborating with the Fabulous Beast Dance Theatre Company. Still Hothouse Flowers has not yet fulfilled her destiny. The possibilities are endless. The will is there. Ni fada go bhfeicfear.

Hayseed Dixie

Hayseed Dixie

14 Aug 2026 - 31 Oct 2026

Hayseed Dixie began in the summer of 2000 in the fertile valley of Deer Lick Holler, deep in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains of East Tennessee USA. In this area which was completely isolated from outside cultural and musical influence, the boys grew up playing the traditional music of their forefathers on banjo, fiddle, mandolin, acoustic guitar and acoustic bass. All of this changed abruptly one afternoon when a stranger crashed his car into a stately old oak tree on a particularly dangerous curve, which the locals refer to as the Devil's Elbow. Sadly, the stranger expired, but his legacy lives on! As the boys searched through the wreckage looking for identification, they discovered several vinyl AC/DC albums. After playing these back on an old Edison 78rpm Victrola, everyone agreed that the songs were right fine country music . . . and that the Lost Highway of Brother Hank Williams and this Highway To Hell of AC/DC were indeed the exact same damn road! And the rest is now enshrined in musical history. Most recently, Hayseed Dixie are exploring the inspired catalogue of the stadium rock of the 1970's and 1980's. This interest began during a 2014 Spring tour of Germany, in which the band heard the song Eye of the Tiger 6 different times on 6 different German radio stations in a single day while driving between Dortmund and Frankfurt. As the seed is planted, so the tree shall grow - this very quote appears on the inner sleeve of the 1980 album Escape by Journey. How very true indeed.

PP Arnold

PP Arnold

20 Sept 2026 - 20 Sept 2026

P.P. Arnold is the quintessential "First Lady of Soul." Her journey began in the mid-60s as an Ikette with the Ike & Tina Turner Revue, but it was a chance encounter with Mick Jagger that changed everything. Spotting her raw talent, Jagger convinced Andrew Loog Oldham to sign her to his Immediate record label, instantly making her one of the most iconic faces of London's "Swinging 60s." Her solo career soared with a string of hits that remain timeless, most notably her original version of "The First Cut Is The Deepest," "Angel Of The Morning," and "(If You Think You're Groovy)." Beyond her own records, she is perhaps the most prolific collaborator in music history. Over six decades, she has shaped the sound of R&B, Rock, and Pop, working alongside legends like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, the Small Faces, and Barry Gibb, through to modern icons like the KLF, Paul Weller, and Ocean Colour Scene. Far from just a legacy artist, Pat remains a vital and "electrifying" force in the industry. Following her successful 2022 Glastonbury debut and the release of her critically acclaimed autobiography Soul Survivor, she has continued to release new music to popular acclaim, including the 2024 Live In Liverpool album. With a massive career retrospective released in February 2025, P.P. Arnold continues to prove why she is the ultimate soul survivor-still going strong and still incomparable. Support from Pippa Dean

The Skids & Theatre Of Hate

The Skids & Theatre Of Hate

6 Nov 2026 - 13 Dec 2026

The Skids formed in 1977 in their hometown of Dunfermline, Scotland by Richard Jobson, Stuart Adamson, Bill Simpson & Tom Kellichan. After releasing an independent single the band was played by John Peel, supported The Clash in concert and then were signed to Virgin Records in 1978. Their first singles were Sweet Surburbia, The Saints are Coming and Into the Valley the latter reaching the UK Top Ten in early 1979. Their seminal debut album Scared to Dance came out in 1979 which was quickly followed by two chart singles Masquerade and Working for the Yankee Dollar. Both singles were taken from the Bill Nelson produced second album Days in Europa. The album also featured new member Rusty Egan of Rich Kids & Visage fame after the departure of Tom Kellichan. The band released two more albums The Absolute Game (1980) and Joy (1981) before splitting. The current Skids line up sees the lineup stripped back to an explosive 4 piece with Richard Jobson, Peter Byrchmore (Membranes), Hernandez (Drums) & Connor Whyte (Guitar). In 1980, Kirk Brandon formed Theatre of Hate from the ashes of heralded punk band The Pack. Joining Kirk on vocals were notable punk musicians Stan Stammers and Luke Rendall, along with old school friend, Steve Guthrie and Canadian born John Boy Lennard, who revolutionised the bands sound with his haunting sax lines. Theatre Of Hates debut double-A-side single, Legion/Original Sin, topped the independent chart in 1980, and Westworld, their debut album, produced by Mick Jones from The Clash and released in 1982, held the number one position for 21 weeks. The single taken from the album, Do You Believe In The West- world? has become an anthem and is still widely played in clubs and on international radio, as well as featuring on numerous compilation albums. Theatre Of Hate imploded in 1982, with Kirk taking Stan forward to form Spear Of Destiny, but the band has resurfaced over the years to play some very special shows across the UK, Europe and the USA. The band now have a settled line up of Kirk Brandon, Stan Stammers, Chris Bell & Clive Osborne who astound their loyal fanbase with high-octane live shows featuring new songs and classics from their back catalogue.

The Feeling are five twentysomethings from Sussex and London who love pop music. Great big no-nonsense, hook-filled, giant-chorused pop music music for the masses, only intelligent, with sunshine hooks and killer choruses that everyone can hum, from plumbers to professors. The Feeling, who are all between 25 and 27, are overnight sensations with a bit of a past, cutting their teeth as session musicians on a variety of mainstream and marginal recordings. They're all from Sussex, except Dan, who's from London. Paul, Kevin and Ciaran even went to the same school: Paul and Ciaran were in the same year. The Sussex axis of the band have been friends for 13 years. They met Dan and Richard at music college in Croydon 10 years ago, and they've been working together in various forms ever since. Five years ago they went through their "Hamburg era" when they appeared for several seasons in the Alps as a covers band who specialised in versions of Rolling Stones, Kinks, Stevie Wonder and Beatles songs as well as rocked-up versions of '80s hits like "Take On Me" by A-ha, "Walk Like An Egyptian" by The Bangles and "Jump" by Van Halen: "Whatever got the crowd going."
